Thank you! And yes, I have used it that way as well. The definition is definitely better but I like the way my hair felt better when I use the leave underneath. I also find the leave in helps weigh my hair down which I prefer since my hair is so thick. Thanks for the comment!
I haven't used uncle funky's in a WHILE but from what I remember this gel gave me a bit more hold than the curly magic. Maybe about the same, not much more.
@@NaturallyNatalie Ok thank you! I've only used a few botanical gels so I was curious if they are all similar. I like uncle funky daughters because there isn't a ton of crunch but my hair doesn't last as long. I think I'll try this. It might be what I'm looking for!
@@felicia_716 Yes I completely understand! I've never been a fan of gels like curly magic or curlmaker because they don't tend to have much hold but there are botanical gels that have more hold. Honey's Handmade has an aloe water gel that comes to mind that has amazing hold. Shescentit also has some good holding custards/gels (tahiti cocktail comes to mind.) This miche gel reminds me more of those types of gels than the uncle funky's.
