- Because the game is only in german I decided to do a step by step translation of the tutorial to help people that don't understand how to complete it.
I have a wheel but I made it with keyboard to use the default keys.
Thank you for this tutorial. It has been very useful! I didn't know that the passengers could request to stop at the next stop. I always stop anyway, haha.

@MrTheflashback You are welcome, glad it helped you! That happens always or sometimes? I had the same problem a few times, sometimes you have to close and open the doors again, considering that the game is very new I believe it's a bug and they will fix it with a patch, some bugs like this are pretty common in small developer's games
@BritishRider For what I read is not a choice of the developer, it's the publisher's, I guess that if it has good sales in germany they will release it in english

Press F11, click "Maus", then click on the buttons that say "OFF" so that they say "ON". You can leave the one on the right off but you will not see the steering wheel icon on screen which shows you where the mouse is.
Ok, you do press down and then Page Up. After that, Hole Backspace and Insert at the same time.
It'd be released on May-25th-2012 in English version... for worldwide release selling, on 4th May :D I can't wait until May 25th... :) and yes, the Game will be absolutely working in English, not with German mistakes.
Oh, easy, push escape, reset bus, then you start over with options and stuff. You'll eventually see your bus number and the password of it. Write it down on paper so you can enter it.
@tolakisuper3 go to options (einstellungen), controls (steuerung), vehicle (fahrzeug), wheel/gamepad (lenkrad/gamepad) and there you have all the controls, you click on one and press the button, move the wheel, etc, the most important are, beschleunigen = throttle, fubremse = brake, links lenken = steer left, rechts lenken = steer right, you can keep using the other controls with the keyboard, or translate all the other options to know what each one is
@Mainline421 You are right, it seems that it will be called European Bus Simulator and will be published bi Excalibur Publishing, in their site it says it will be released on May 4th, excalibur-publishing.co.uk
@mateo89fl ty... btw I've found it... Click F, left arrow until see tour (something like that, I dont remember now) and choose the opposite.
Can you make a video how to conect and set up Wheel, i have wheel Logitech GT and i try it to configurate on Bus car cable simulator but i just cant dont know how to do it

@Mainline421 I don't know, the developer said that it's the publisher decision, so maybe it never gets released in english

@Spetznaz I'm pretty sure you can't, the controller options are separated between keyboard/mouse and wheel/gamepad and I couldn't find an option to set the mouse as steering.
HEY DUDES, does any one know how to get a steering wheel with pedals to work with this. The game pad/steering wheel" option is visible but not accessible(cannot click it).
I even tried the F 11 key in game and nothing either.
I have version 1.3, English that is.
Any help would be appreciated :)

@mondegoha You have to enter the line and destination numbers again, and there you choose the other direction

Ohhhhh, you probably only have half of the keyboard, you don't have the number pad part on you laptop, it's hard to explain!

Are you supposed to enter in the driver number and password on the keypad? I get to that step in the tutorial and then can gono further without that code plus the route number. At least with bus sim 16 you don't have to go through that but unfortunately that game won't run on my laptop while bus sim 2 however does.
It says reduce rpm to under 900 how?
I only have two destinations but you are much when you press the f7 how do you get there

@Invissibl @Invissibl The optimization isn't very good, I have an i5 2500K at 4.5ghz, 4gb ram, and AMD HD6850 and I can't run it at full details, try lowering the graphics details, go to options (einstellungen), graphic options (grafikeinstellungen), set the resolution that you want, untick all the options you can, set the sliders to the left, and the options that have different settings, choose off (off) or low (niedrig), instead of medium (mittel), high (hoch), or very high (sehr hoch)
how do you go into reverse? everytime you crash into something you can't back up so you will have to restart the bus again -_-
+bluesboydude First press the 'pageup' key to view gears. Than hold down the 'down arrow' key + ''click the 'R' button to go into reverse. Then accelerate 'Up Arrow' Key to go backwards. Then do the same thing to go forward. Hold down the 'Down Arrow' Key, then click the 'D' button to drive. If you want you can press 'automatic gears' (it's beside the gears on the right) so you dont have to change gears. If you want to change gears, Press the 'Pageup' key and see the '1''2''3' key, start of with gear 1 and work you way up. You'll know when the engine starts to roar, then change.
NOTE: To start Engine, the gear must be in neutral, its the 'N' button on the gear.
Is there a quick start option? I had a problem yesterday where I hit some switch that triggered an alarm and now cannot do anything.Also when I press the gas pedal it seems to function like a brake while the brakes seem to function as a gas pedal....I couldn't put the bus in drive because it said I needed to get the RPM's below 900 or something like that. I swear this thing is too complex just to start the darn bus much like how microsoft flight sim is so difficult to start the engine on it's planes.
It shouldn't be that complicated IMHO and should instead be more like ETS2 where if you're using a shifter with your steering wheel you can simply move it up or down to go forward or reverse,I got stuck by a darn tree and couldn't get out of it without just exiting the game again ughh!! There are just far too many keyboard commands to try to memorize with this game that make it really hard to play.
bluesboydude just hit alt to get the cursour, then hold the down arrow and right click on the gears untill it gets into Rear without pressing PgUp
