The glorious 1904 Napier L48 Samson

When the 1904 Napier L48 Samson was recreated using the original World Land Speed Record breaking engine in the 1980s it was hailed by MotorSport journalist Boll Boddy as the recreation project of the decade. And not since, has a car been built from scratch using the original engine to relive the heroic era of motor sport. The ambition of this project was incredible and the result is a motoring masterpiece.
