As a fzs-v3 user. I really love performance and mileage in city(it was around 46-47 till the first 2 services and then after 2 years I could get 56kmpl) especially V3 which I am using For 3 years. But I really hate the fuel tank and size and built quality which basically is fiber. I just fell in love with this retro blackie.

Well the new Yamaha FZ-X is good looking retro bike, with all the goodness of the fz. The design looks good but the rear is kind of disproportionate otherwise its looks good. Then performance could have been improved a little bit despite having more weight. Overall it good retro looking, feature loaded, comfortable and fuel efficient bike in the 150 -160 cc segment.wish their would be a 250 cc version as well. What's your opinion guys? FZX looks good, comfortable ride position and seat, rear suspension was hard but after adjusting it became soft, economy 52-57 kmpl tracking through app, app connects only after opening, top end is low at 105kmph, traction control system is very useful in mud, slippery slopes. People who prefer comfort and ease of ownership, FZX is great choice. People looking for rash driving should look for other bikes.
Looks like yamaha has developed this bike keeping village people as target customers. Metal parts for durability and thrashing on non existing roads. Those who travel between villages and within village or to farm. Can go for TVS, Bajaj and hero bikes for comfort, mileage and City ride. For other reasons yamaha, suzuki and Honda. This one is big no no. For City they should have launched XSR 155.
