You can lift more weight by increasing the sizes and thickness of all the components, or using components of harder material rated for more weight. Careful about anything lifting weight have safety measures in place and check for wear over time.

Could this be modified so the lift extends, grabs on a handle and then lifts a whole robot about 10 cms off the ground?
