The PARAGON RAGTIME ORCHESTRA performs W.C. Handy's "Yellow Dog Rag" from its original 1914 orchestration, as published by Pace & Handy, Memphis, TN. The performance is conducted by Rick Benjamin, noted American musicologist and PRO founder. This score for "Yellow Dog Rag" was part of the orchestra collection of the Victor Talking Machine Company, which Mr. Benjamin rescued from a warehouse in 1985.
