Regarding Shawn's comment on not generally running a delay in front of his overdrive, but preferring it in this case: makes sense to me, seeing as all those EP-3's ran into the inputs of amps BITD, pre-fx loop.
I do have to add it sounds really good either way. If you run it after a drive it gives the drive a much more throaty midrange so experiment if you do get one!!
I have one question and appreciate your info: When a delay pedal is in the loop of Ape, is the delayed signal fed back into the input of the delay again (mixed with dry) or not? If I put a graphic eq after the delay in the loop of Ape and roll off the highs, does the delay gradually become darker and darker like analog delays? Thanks you!
