Yes it is. It's artificial intelligence. If it's not programmed than it's not artificial. Artificial intelligence may adapt and evolve beyond it's initial implementation but it's origin is artificial, meaning it came from another intelligence. Until we see non-biological evolution in the universe the intelligence will always be artificial even if it surpasses our human intelligence.
Would've preferred nVidia reuploading "NVIDIA Deep Learning Course" with improved audio instead.

Looking back to this video. The breakthroughs have been even more influential and instrumental that anyone could have dared to dream. And at the same time the greatest predictions did not come true. AI does great within certain domains but not when it comes to life experience itself as is the case with the task of "driving". That's also why by far the youngest drivers are the most accident prone. And it's not because all of them are hormonal and stupid. With old age the sensors and CPU just isn't working anymore, yet the massive experience is usually there. It's quite a crux

we are basically in the moment of AI that could be related to "Schrödinger's cat" we do not know if AI could be used for good or it will turn evil the only way to find out is to create the AI. but the problem is are we willing to risk the negative outcome over the positive that it could do for us in the end.
I think the question is more : is it going to be more dangerous than man ?
As we already are able to blow up the planet, it's hard to do worse. Maybe it will save us.

it can recognise millions of images in a short period of time though, something that a human will not be able to do because he/she needs to eat/sleep/rest and is also vulnerable to simple silly mistakes. this thing can run fast and is robust as hell, does not need any breaks and will not degrade over time.
on top of that, a human needs way more time to understand what an elephant is - I doubt that an average 1-2 years old human can tell you that it is an elephant. training process for that system took less time than that
