Herb and Dave both said more meaningful shit, had flow and whatnot and went for a min they obviously was the best probably why it was them 2 on their own XXL knew not to have dudes who more refined in the artistry with Denzel who you couldn't make out most of his words, Uzi who was just yeah yeah money, lil boat just being lil boat, 21 being killa 21 talking bout killing and ad-libbing, and Kodak who yes did say something but was like 10 bars max!
And I'm not hating at all I actually personally listen to them(Uzi segment artist) more than Dave and Herb I don't listen to them at all, but obviously at that point in time they were better all around or maybe even just performance wise better than the rest. I'm honest in my assessments and I admittedly pass on most current shit it's hardly individuality but I love being proven wrong and finding a young talented and good artist even if I won't become a fan and I had a discussion about this class with homies not long ago and said this... most of these dudes were weak THEN, but I truly like or love their artistry NOW even if I'm nkt checking and listening all the time I acknowledge and give credit. 21 is the most notable and he sukked then(2016) it's just the truth, being *on, popping, freshman cover, etc* doesn't equal being good it's always someone popping who label paid to push the music. And 21 just was not a good rapper Dr Seuss personified "I sit back and read like Cat In The Hat 21 savage the cat with the mac" I mean he ACTUALLY was elementary rhyming!😂 he's progressed tremendously which we should try to do anyway and it's not many artist especially after making it that you can see progress like you can with 21. Even though he still talk about sliding and opps he's the best at it! Idk if I'd choose anyone else for a feature about opps and shit than 21 King Von probably was his equal that's why he was the obvious choice for "Who Want Smoke" remix I thought that remix with 21, Von, and maybe Durk(cause I some reason only care for him with Von, alone I can't just listen to him) would've been a perfect combo! 21 done held his own with J. COLE TWICE! On his own sonf and as a feature and there's progress from *A Lot* 21 & *My Life* 21. This XXL 21 "cut a nicca down like a fukkin lawnmower"😒😒? Ain't who showed up and out with Cole. And who could do a whole album with Drake(and I actually enjoy 21 more than Drake on it)

Uzi won't say much meaningful shit anyway but I understand his lane dudes a Rockstar legit that's why he can make a song that essentially doesn't have a verse *I Just Wanna Rock* and it be a worldwide hit hell I'm still waiting on him to actually rap on that song, but I get his appeal I bump Luv Is Rage 2 still *X* is hands down my favorite song of his, though he might been the 1 out of them to be essentially the same now as then get why he doesn't need to "get better" at much though I will never approve of half your verse/song being "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" being considered "hard" like his Bad and Boujee verse or the Just Wanna Rock song.
Kodak is the last 1 for me to get it with his rapping style and voice alone was a turn off no one can deny he sounded and sometimes still just sounds like a baby or whatever tf it is? But a friend said a while ago "but he could be different and versatile" in our convo and I listened to Back For Everything and LOVED IT! I had no skips on it and main reason was I actually could understand wtf he was saying LOL. And I would here other stuff here and there that would be different I only recently heard the No Flockin it's called? Here on the channel and it was another that I was "ok dude actually can say something and have a scheme, use metaphors and etc" BUT here in this XXL Cypher he did not do much at all and c'mon the length was definitely a factor in it not being good aside from the "who picked this lil wack ass beat" being hilarious AF😂 but they did have the energy and chemistry as pointed out and ad-libbing for each other definitely was there in that performance.
But in Diction/elecution meaning they actually rapped and we could understand what's said, flow being decent/good not bad or low energy or monotone, not ad-lib or "yeah yeah" after every 2-3 words, and actually saying something decent in their content? Dave and Herb were notably better than the rest, 1& 2 easily and again I'm not even a fan defending them I listen to the others much more, only heard 1 song from Dave and that was less than a month ago, and only hear Herb on features.
