Men are also much louder environmentalist protesters, and created the science behind renewable energy and sustainable development. Where's the "toxic femininity about the ecosystem" for women like Taylor Swift who produce more of a carbon footprint in a single day than most people do in their lifetime? Men are more likely to pick up garbage, too, considering most garbage people are MEN.
Fast fashion is also a significant contributor to environmental degradation and unethical treatments of worker and sweatshops and guess who the perpetrators of that are? Women. Specifically gen z and millenial white women from the western hemisphere.

Not sure of your point? Most programmers are male, too. That doesn't stop sports from being part of hyper masculinity. It just means there's both a nerd/geek masculine culture and a jock one. In that same vein, as someone in Texas, I can guarantee you that extended cab truck ownership and people who have converted electric cars are both mostly male populations due to different forms of masculine identity.

It makes me wonder if more men own EVs in the UK because men can make more money - that women may wish they could own EVs, but have to make do with used gas cars.
Similarly, men typically commute only to and from work, whereas women have school pickup, after school classes, errands, and work. And so a bike might be much less viable for a women's life than for a man with a simple commute.
Also, there haven't been any large capacity EVs that can carry two kids and their friends. At least few that can compete with gas minivans.

At an national level, cycling 🚲 infrastructure is abysmal in the UK 🇬🇧 and in many of its former colonies - especially the US 🇺🇸 & Australia 🇦🇺. That more men cycle in these countries is not a gender thing, per se, but is an indication that the cycling infra & cycling culture is poor & that car culture is dominant.
Very generally speaking, women are more safety conscious & and risk-averse than men. When you see large numbers of women & younger children cycling 🚲 for transportation, that is an indication that you have a healthy cycling culture & good cycling infrastructure. Prime examples of this are Denmark 🇩🇰 & the Netherlands 🇳🇱.

I think this issue can be looked at through a compassionate lens to optimize the deconstruction of masculinity and earth-stifling behaviors. Its actually because men have been forced to suppress feelings of sadness and responsibility for something greater than their own survival in a hypermasculine (sometimes referred to as ‘toxic’ which perpetuates the behaviors, so stop using that term) world that these issues exist. The solution is beyond the recognition of this issue: how to we engage men in a way thats accessible? Not all men are the ‘powerful misogynists’ that people make them into (like a boogeyman, which is unhelpful and actually contributes to the issue).

Great. Now do a video on toxic femininity and its connection to environmental degradation. Fast fashion pollution was started by women and continues to rise as more women and girls encourage the unethical usage of clothes in honor of "trends". We can also encourage more women to contribute to sustainable development knowledge and renewable technology innovation since men have paved the way for such scientific breakthroughs. But making the garbage cleanup workers gender equal would be a start, too.

      It's still masculinity, actually.
I mean, a large chunk of fast fashion brands are actually run by men and the first formal fashion designer was actually a man.
And this "fashion=feminine" narrative is still a product of masculinity/patriarchy trying to enforce gender roles on people, especially women and brands(again owned by men) cash in on this by targeting that demographic.
Also, it is true that being environmentally friendly is seen as feminine and that's the reason why some eco-friendly brands still have to "masculinize"(ex. no soft colors, angular shapes, masculine(?) words like "rush" or "adventure") their packaging in order to cater to men.

You really should watch Penn and Teller. Recycling takes more energy than not doing so. Recycling is actually the toxic behavior. And climate isn't determined by CO2. It's determined by location on the planet relative to the sun. Florida doesn't worry about blizzards, and Montana doesn't worry about hurricanes. (that's latitude) California at sea level usually doesn't get snow. California in the mountains does. (that's altitude) Btw, we only produce 4% of the total volume of CO2. The earth produces 96%. Lowering our emissions won't change climate because CO2 doesn't determine it and we don't produce enough to make any difference whatsoever in temps. Also, a 2 deg. difference up or down doesn't change the climate either. In Iowa, we have a temperate climate. A 2 deg. fluctuation is natural variability.

She probably has never thought of what it takes to build the camera she uses. Or the sheer amount of machinery it takes to building housing for the millions of people that need it.
That woman never once stopped talking for a second and thought about the fact that before the industrial age people lived until 50. She thinks live can just be sitting on a garden and talk about her feelings.
It's hilarious because at the end feminism went to such extreme efforts to get away from the traditional female role of being a dumb girl whose heart desires things while the men take care of things and she ended up in the same spot.
