Dustin Connell extended his lead to finish atop SCORETRACKER® by a 21-pound margin over second place with a two-day total of 33 bass weighing 74 pounds, 5 ounces. Meanwhile, John Hunter claimed the final spot above the cutline to qualify for Saturday’s Knockout Round by a 4-pound margin over 11th place with 19 bass weighing 42-3.
Stage Five action continues tomorrow with Group B returning to the Chowan River on the MLFNOW! live stream at MajorLeagueFishing.com and the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app at 7:50 a.m. ET.
