This was my very first favorite game. Still is... Amazing soundtrack, amazing gameplay, amazing characters for its time... It saddens me that the story got wrecked so badly that it was easy forgotten.
@@lawrence3185 I dissagree, all of the issues do not really destroy the game, there are plenty of things, multiple dodges depending on the character, you can customize and increase DNA making the game a lot more complex on one of the mods, every new character is amazing, Rioho and Mana are complex and super interesting to play way before and way better than MK Ferra and Torr, Reiji is to this day the best Tae Kwon Do fighter in fighting games, the dragon is great but hyper beast Ryoho is a monster a total Akuma character that started using powers and zoning, also Nagi is not only one of the most sexy characters in a fighting game but also one of the best designs ever, what a fantastic roaster the game has. Obviously Konami ruined a couple of things but they went away from the anime aesthetic and dug into 3d, this is a missunderstood game overall that if polished could have been one of the greatest games of all times, still I love it to this day.
0:45 - 0:57 is why electric guitar is the greatest stringed instrument; it's so versatile. Bends, slides, hammers/pulls, various harmonics, mutes etc. This melodic bit is just so beautiful and love that Punk vibe of the track. This is the essence of 90s VG soundtracks - what a time for music in general. Can't say the same these days, unfortunately.
To be fair. Rock still has some passion. Its less mainstream though so theres that. Things like Hi-Fi Rush and other games still have great Rock tracks. But I see where you and others are coming from.

What I mean by my comment is that EVERYTHING back then had peak music - games, movies, TV - literally everything had the aesthetic of shred. It was a sign of the times, unlike today, where it's just an unusual choice compared to mumble rap or whatever lamestream poopy-doops they churn out. Cheers to you.

Hell, because of rock, I picked up a guitar back in 2022 when I was I think 14 and wanted to learn, with only school holding me back. Of course, I agree with the unusual choice bit. I mostly got lucky listening to a bunch of modern tracks that are pretty peak. But there are choices that come off rubbish or messy. Out of every genre, I like rock, but Jazz and orchestra are also great. In conclusion though, it is what it is. And to end this comment, cheers to you as well.

There’s a lot of great Zoanthrope from the start but what would be a great Animal for Bloody roar if they rebooted it? If we got a 5th game I’d nominate the full roster from both Primal Fury and 4, bringing back Cronos, Gensha, Fang, Nagi, Reiji, and Rhyoho.Ryuzo and Uranus came back as clones of their original selves and they did a good job being their own characters in their own spots, Hans the Fox should comeback like Ryuzo as a Cybernetic clone of himself/ herself making it the first Bloody Roar transsexual or non binary fighter. So far Ganesha and Stun are the wrestlers of this game, I think Mitsuko should get a new move set since alot of it went to Stun when BR2 was released. If Greg came back at least make him Black again like he’d be the first African American character for the game, I get it he’s a Gorilla but this is not the past he’s a Ringshow leader and he’s another Wrestler like fighter. What if we got another bird Zoanthrope maybe make another female fighter, Native American, Owl or Falcon based, making her Reiji’s rival.
