By showing the chess app, you made my point about this AI frenzy fever……99.99% of what is advertised as AI it is not. Running a model doesn’t make it AI. Otherwise, we should call everything since D.O.S, AI apps…..a true AI app should be able to work off-line and learn more and more every time you use it. But this models are pre-written and are limited to the extension of the code. There is, I gather, a semantic issue with this trend. ChatGPT is not AI, is just an app, like Garage Band or Word. And I believe some has to say it because it seems everyone is dulled or dazed, or even worse, paid to look the other way…..by the road, the chess app you showed is identical to the IBM from 1995, so how come back then it wasn’t AI but 30 years later, it is?
