Flat shop rate is 2 hours, our rate is $70 an hour but most other shops are FAR higher than that.

Great video, much appreciated. I have a 2010 BMW R1200R, can I use similar setup or do I need something to trick the CANBus whatchamacallit?

I must admit that I am not familiar with BMW's particular control system. I frankly can't imagine that a headlight bulb would make much difference, however, there is a possibility that it could. Try at your own risk, but since nothing has to be permanently modified to try it, it could be worth a shot. If it works, Great! If it doesn't, well maybe you can re-sell the kit on Ebay. Whichever way it goes, if you try it, could you do me and the viewers a favor? Let us all know what happened please? Thanks for the support!

@@JWSRepairServiceLLC Took the plunge today to change the OEM Halogen to LED bulb. I bought a Philips H11 Ultinon Essential LED bulb, came together with the LED driver. Replaced the OEM low beam bulb, minor tweak to get the alignment right. Put everything back in and IGN on, pretty happy with the outcome. No check light whatsoever...for now. So far so good.

Awesome! I believe the power supply is a load equalizer?

It's actually a transformer, the kit I installed is 48 volt, so it bumps up the standard 12 volt. You wouldn't need a load equalizer except for turn signals, but you don't even need those now since they make transistorized flasher modules so you don't get the crazy fast blinking. Back in the day, I did have to install load equalizers and resistors to correct the fast flash.

Do you have a recommendation for a '95 Sportster? The headlight is quite a bit smaller than the one on that Honda.

Not an inexpensive one, you will have to use the genuine H/D LED conversion for that small headlight bucket, be prepared to drop about $400 for that. Kuryakyn used to make one for the small/shallow buckets, but I don't see them offered anymore.
