On the swing pass to Mostert there were a big pile of guys from the middle to the right, directly in his window to Tyreek. He had three passes batted in this game because Eichenberg wasn't getting enough push on his guy (same guy batted all three). His first year starting he had zero passes batted and it still doesn't happen very often. I think he really tries to avoid that. The corner Tyreek smoked on the TD ran a 4.32 at the combine. Tyreek is freaking different.
I think that td to waddle is Tua recognizing that Waddle is underutilized so when he has the choice of waddle and Reek with the outcome being similar, he hits waddle
It was due to the window closing soon or open in real time. Watching replay doesnt equal to real time football, so many factors. Thats why its hard to play qb at the highest level.
Nah, from the end zone view you can see Tua’s 1st read was Tyreek but he thinks it covered initially and just as he moves on to waddle, Tyreek comes free.
Pause at 12:48. You can see Tua thinks the corner is gonna stick with Tyreek but he instead drifts to the back corner of the end zone. By then he sees waddle open on the top right side of the screen so he decides to go there instead.
Tyreek Hill is covered when Tua sees him, but the DB fades to the corner of the end zone for no reason. By that point, Tua had already seen Waddle and went to his second read. The pressure made him speed up his process and there would be no reason to assume that DB covering Hill would forget how to play DB.
The level of trust and confidence a qb has to have with his receivers & himself to throw a ball that early in the middle of the field with 3 defenders closing in has to be peak. So happy for tua. I really love the Waddle TD pass, and I haven’t really seen people giving it its flowers. A lot of people have pointed out that Tyreek had the TD and he did, and likewise that it was probably the easier throw to hit Tyreek. Judging off how Waddle catches it like he’s playing in the backyard with his dad and how it destroys the defender next to him, though, it seems to me he judged it would be the easier pass to complete, which at the end of the day is certainly what matters as long as you can execute.
When Tua makes his decision throw Waddle is a little more open. Two steps later Tyreek is open but the pass is launched by then. Tua's probably trying to get rid of the ball as soon as he can before the DB can catch him. 10:48 is the best look at it.

Motion/formation rules have changed very little in the past 2 decades and any coach could have drawn this up, McDaniel is just using motion to it's maximum potential. Great video! Why don’t they target Tyreek Hill more often? He had 10 targets with 6 receptions for 163 yards and only 1 TD in this game. To me it would be fun to see him targeted between 15-20 times? You know a lot more about that. I’m hoping he gets way over 2,000 yards receiving in 2023! He has 6 TD passes so far but the single season record is 23; so he needs more TD chances?
I wish you had put the jump ball late in the game into this video. I didn't like the throw at all when I watched it live and I haven't been able to find footage of it since. It's the type of throw I'm looking forward to seeing if Claypool can help out with.
The scheme and anticipation makes them seem so open. They aren’t open when the ball is released by Tua but by the time the ball gets to the receiver they’re open because of the play calling and timing of it all.

I believe Brian Florse started these rumors. And currently some broad casters don't care for players openly admitting to being very religious.
But like where are all the two yard slants that Tyreek runs in for TDs, I heard there's a lot of those.
Wow….each week Tua makes Brian Flores look more and more like a bozo and a hater.
I don’t know if Tua looking throw at Tyreek’s direction every passing play but it seems like the former is targeting the latter 1/3 lol
Behind the back by tua
I wish you had put the jump ball late in the game into this video. I didn't like the throw at all when I watched it live and I haven't been able to find footage of it since. It's the type of throw I'm looking forward to seeing if Claypool can help out with.
It’s crazy how open everyone is on every single play
The scheme and anticipation makes them seem so open. They aren’t open when the ball is released by Tua but by the time the ball gets to the receiver they’re open because of the play calling and timing of it all.
they're open a lot of the times because tua is throwing before they've broken from their route, its almost impossible to stay step for step with a WR immediately out of their break so they looks crazy open.
@@TheHass84 good point, he’s absolutely locked in right now
Michael Penix Jr vs Oregon Please! 🙂
I'm seeing alot of other teams copying Miamis plays. I see a new wrinkle every game with the Dolphins on O.
Can you breakdown Brock Purdy

😂😂😂😂
25:47 Tyreek TD if he tosses it to endzone
The Tua arm strength subject is a bit convoluted. He’s absolutely fine when he can set and throw with his whole body it’s the off platform throws that are worrisome, especially in bad weather. He’s a great QB and expecting perfection is all aspects is silly
