That's the Miller Beach neighborhood. It's very different from the rest of Gary. Miller Beach has a lovely little "Beach Town" type of vibe. It's right on Lake Michigan and surrounded by the Indiana Dunes National Park. People even go there for beach vacations. Just check out the Airbnb listings for Miller Beach. There's lots of beautiful vacation homes there.
