Watching the video I was thinking. "I'll make a comment below and ask how he captured so much dialogue/Audio" Scrolling down to the comment section I see your pinned comment lol. You really are in a league of your own.
I feel like I’m watching a previous episode recap and new episode on Netflix. This is amazing! This is the level of quality that people want access to but probably think they can’t get.
🥹😍❤️ Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it and love the support. The doc/reality mix is so perfect for weddings. Capturing those little hidden conversations and putting you back in time lol. Thanks again for watching and the support!
I believe you got a style that a lot of wedding videographers will start to emulate. This gives me 90s/2000s wedding video vibes where an uncle would go around with a camera and ask everyone what you’d like to say to the bride and groom. Similar to how a lot of wedding photographers are incorporating film in their photography package you found a way to keep it timeless but still kept a high standard in quality. Love it!
Dude. I'm only 2 minutes in and your shooting style is awesome! I'm a wedding Photographer from Boston and I see a TON of wedding videos and when I say they are all the same, they are. Way to stand out and just do it your way. It has such a fresh feel to it and I can for sure see why someone would hire you. I'm going to try to get some of my bride to get you up to the Northeast so you can spread this magic around. Plus I want to witness first hand the crazy jet pack you wear. Keep on creating awesomeness!
This comment 😭🥹! Thank you so much. I seriously appreciate it. It’s so hard to film any different now lol. I love seeing what moments we get just from them being mic’d up. Thanks so much and hopefully I do get up to Boston for one. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Firstly... This is incredible. There's something about this film that I feel will be very very underappreciated. It's a 10+ minute film that has no portrait session padding it out. So often we as wedding filmmakers lean on the artistic portrait session to pad out a film and fill the gaps..... But making a film this long without that crutch and still making it feel like a 5 minute film is very very impressive.
Hey! I truly appreciate this. Means so much to see the little things noticed. I personally feel like the portrait session never fits the flow of the story. I’d much rather show the natural moments like first dances, grand entrances, etc. Thanks so much for watching and truly appreciate your support!
Dude .. the picture quality this thing puts out is insane. You have almost sold me on leaving panasonic for my wedding filmmaking and switching over to BMPCC6K PRO. Tremendous job man!
Thanks so much! That seriously means the world. It takes some heavy lifting in the color panel in resolve but the picture quality is so good. Depending on which Panasonic you have, you can output BRaw to a Blackmagic monitor
Hey Justin, awesome content! Thank you! Would you consider doing a video about reception lighting? Maybe have some video or stills mixed with illustrated diagrams, covering two of your most used setups and your thought process to evaluate and analyze a reception space.
Love your style, love this video, and sooo happy to have found your page. So much inspiration from it and how you operate. Keep it up man, for all of us 🤝
I can truly feel the work behind this video this is really crazy how you capture all the crazy and deepest moment. I’m so so proud of your work and see you growing in the wedding film industry. A passionated know when a real passionated know what he’s doing. Mentor hope one day I’ll work with you because You truly inspired me to push myself forward. Hello great work. im a subscriber of yours for a long time. What would u say to anyone who insist that BM cameras are not meant for weddings? Cuz i get that a lot from sony users saying that they have exprince with BM cams?
I mean I’d agree that there are easier systems to use at weddings. Truthfully it comes down to what you prefer. I enjoy the benefits of B Raw and the image quality. I don’t think any camera is deemed a “wedding camera” or not.
You make wedding videos so entertaining to watch!! You’re changing the game. I’m based out of Houston and Ik who I’m going to for a wedding video when the time comes!!🔥
Bro you are paving the way on a new style for weddings. this is dope bro....you got me questioning my life right now on why I have a camera lol but anyway man keep up the good work bro. Love your style
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it and so glad to have your support. All I can say is do what makes you happy. Tell the stories that excite you. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Good job man. I don’t know if it’s your idea to do this different format but it’s really refreshing to NOT see all the same shots we see everywhere. You probably won’t be able to answer but what’s the budget for a film like. Crew of 3. And one week editing I would guess.
Hey! Thanks so much. I love doing it and have even more ideas to really bring it to life. I haven’t actually been charging for this “style” per say. It’s just become my new normal. 🥹
audio truly makes it not just doing audio from the vows, speeches, pastor but raw audio from the interactions and throughout the wedding is way more appealing to a potential wedding couple wondering why you charge 4k for a wedding video I think as wedding videos are getting more popular, people don't want a 4-6 minute highlight video anymore
You’re so right! Those moments are special and I love developing scenes from them, but what about the rest of the day. There’s so much we can capture. I hope more filmmakers take it on 🙌🏾
@@JustinPorterMedia agreed! i mean you're one of the first i've seen doing this, so it is setting you apart from the rest of the wedding videographers love to see it

That’s honestly such a good way to put it. Definitely love having the more candid, raw moments in the film. Gives it such a deeper connection.

Yes she was. I mic the bride and groom almost as soon as we show up and until after the toasts in the evening.
