It's a colossal work. Some very great songs indeed. I particularly love mother nature, silver moon and altitudes. This album was quite a few years ago now. I hope luca turns out more music of such rich quality because this album is superb

Guillermo López Bueno, el Dark Wings me quedó debiendo demasiado a mí, un disco plano y medio monótono donde lo que lo salva es la interpretación SOBERBIA de Fabio. Ellos pueden dar aun más (of Fire), y por eso creo que el segundo disco sin Luca va a ser mejor.

Just wanted to respond to flom my. If you loved this, then check out the new album from Luca Turilli`s Rhapsody that just came out called Prometheus. It's also so amazing that all of the orchestral music in this album were written by Luca Turilli himself. There was nothing borrowed from any composer. It was 100% his music. The same was true for all of the orchestral music in Rhapsody of Fire, with the exception of The wizard's last rhymes on reign of a thousand flames which has some lines from the new world symphony.
Hem...I've just read your comment by accident... I saw them live last time they came to Paris, for their Promotheus Tour. Was my first Rhapsody concert, Lucas is awesome on stage Oo'. They messed up a bit the introduction but the show was great anyway. Even if I loved the new album, I have to confess I'm a bit less in touch with the theme...But hey, still one of the best concert of the year :D

Not taking anything away from these other bands like Symphony X and others, but you can tell Luca writes in the same way that classical composers do. The majority of these bands use keyboards and computers software to produce the orchestral parts of their songs. They write all of the music for each instrument the same way just like a normal rock or metal band. Luca on the other hand, writes and arranges each musical part for each voice and instrument individually, like the great composers did. The majority of the other symphonic metal bands out there don't do that. That is why Luca Turilli is the best.

I like how some artists are able to fill the gap between classical music and metal, can't help mysel but think to Malmsteen and his concerto for electric guitar which sounds like gold to my ears...
I love the whole album but there's something about Mystic and devine it's just it's on my head and my canker out of it so earworm. Find out what this song is really about it's quite interesting

Yo no soy muy aficionado al Power Metal, se me hace duro tragarme un disco entero por lo ampuloso si hablamos concretamente de este artista. Sin embargo cositas sueltas si. Me ha encantado la melodía del estribillo de Pyramids and Stargates.
I love this album, real masterpiece! Unfortunately it's compressed to death, literally. Some songs even have audible clipping. It's a pity great music is treated in such horrible way.
