Lamar has an MVP (2 really, but this last one should have gone to CJ Stroud, IMO) and Lamar is just a more dynamic all-around player, who's had far less help than Dak. If we're only taking last year into account, Lamar at least won a playoff game, and didn't get blown out at home, like Dak. LJ also played well against top teams in the regular season, unlike Dak.
