SubhanAllah, this Hadith makes me happy. Most of the time when I say something - this is haram, this action is shirk, this not the Sunnah of Mohammad (May peace be upon him) guys please let’s not backbite. They all get upset with me and then I feel bad. Now Alhamdulillah always with right intentions that this is for the sake of Allah (SWT) I will continue as much as I can.

Remember people got 3 eyes ,,the eyes,the ears and the heart and when you tell the truth that bring him near to Allah c.c. iblis try with his vesvese to distract him away from the right path ,so he or she react that way and get angry or disturbed and nefs give pressure and when the person do the right thing pressure goes on for a time til instance is strong enough and when do nothing and follow nefs he or she get chilled again but soul is still struggling and in reality the person feel him or herself still not good and happy
You have to be tactful about it, like the Qur'an teaches us through the Ayaat that deterred from alcohol before completely banning it. Also, this may not apply to a complete stranger that will not listen to you.

@@marwatawm i was a child like i will tell my mom its haram to gossip or to lie and i end up getting beat up . i also refused to have any birthday because they are haram its end up me being beat up by both my parents and force to do a birthday party . my family only understand harsh communication even if you soft with them they lash out i gave up, you cant speak with ppl who are uneducated . because of them i was the one ending up doing a lot of sins because i thought maybe i can get a long with my family , big mistake k end up being the depressed one neither i am good muslim neither can get along with my family . its hard to live in family like this they say they are muslims but they dont follow the teaching but expect you to follow some of it , and hate you if you become more religious

Even our beloved prophet (Pbuh) was persecuted and no one was persecuted more than him (alahi salaam). Shaytaan planted resentment in your heart to go make sin with him. ….instead, ask Allah for guidance every step of the way. Never sin because people invite you or through frustration. May Allah guide you and show you and us the right course of action in every circumstance Ameen ya Rabb!

ahh as a Pakistani it is really hard to stop your own family members, they would basically just get angry on you for being too islamic.
That is fine, because even if they are angry now may Allah soften their heart and someday they listen. Also, you saying what is Haq is fulfilling your duty to encourage good and forbid evil. May Allah bless you and increase our iman brother.

(مومنو) جتنی امتیں (یعنی قومیں) لوگوں میں پیدا ہوئیں تم ان سب سے بہتر ہو کہ نیک کام کرنے کو کہتے ہو اور برے کاموں سے منع کرتے ہو اور خدا پر ایمان رکھتے ہو

Wallahi, i was thinking today that i should not make a big fuss of my relatives who were committing bidah. Then i had the thought, will i be questioned by Allah, even though i did raise the awareness to them once. Now im seeing this.

هذا الحديث لا يصح عن النبي (ص) لانه ضعيف جدا.. و لكن هذا لا يعني انه يمكننا السكوت على المنكر حيث في حديث اخر ( مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ مُنْكَرًا فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِيَدِهِ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِلِسَانِهِ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِقَلْبِهِ ، وَذَلِكَ أَضْعَفُ الْإِيمَانِ ) .. وايضا ( إِنَّ النَّاسَ إِذَا رَأَوْا الْمُنْكَرَ فَلَمْ يُغيِّرُوهُ، أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يَعُمَّهُمُ اللهُ بِعِقَابِهِ )
