Everyone is so quick to bash this truck. I bet once you get in and drive one you will shut up. The truck is a total package of comfort, options, and power. This is just stupid if you don't like it don't buy it. This is for people who like cool toys not for people who took three trucks to make 1 that barely makes it to work and back.

Did the exact same thing to my 15 platinum 8 months ago and they ended up using the same supercharger and exhaust. It's by far the gnarliest sounding truck/car I've ever heard.
Mine was 90 and this has another '30k in badges'.
Sounds phenomenal. I recently purchased a 2015 5.0L with the 300a package. I would love to do some power upgrades. I've owned 2 SVT lightnings so I miss the instant throttle response but this truck is so much better looking than previous models
I'm a Ford guy but I would still take a F150 XL over this any day.
Truck looks sweet but I dont get the point of Supercharging lifted trucks, you lose so much HP with lift and big off road tires.

I agree 100%... Seems that the turbo diesel can accelerate faster than that Shelby Truck. Those who buy it would get the same or better if they went & had a supercharger installed at a local performance shop.

The dodge SRT 10 is a two wheel drive four door V-10 viper engine truck, the one I drove had 70000 miles on it,is 19.5 feet long and weighs almost 6000lbs. It was purchased used with 65 000 miles on it for $22000. Wow this truck is fast,I had it doing 145 mph and it had plenty more,punch it at 80 and count to 6 and your doing 130. look on UA-cam and you'll see it running 12's against the Ford lighting. I'm sure this new Shelby ford truck costs plenty and it will be interesting to see how it measures up

its a giant truck that looks like a wall, 4 door, big wheels and tires, maybe 4x4 idk i didnt care to find out,packed with all kinds of wiring for all kinds of useless electronic junk that has no place in a race sport type or marketed vehicle, which all weighs this down way to much. hey ford wanna be smart? go back to a single cab short bed lightning, make it as close to the ground as possible, and stick a true 700hp TO THE TIRES not to the crank powerplant in it and youll have one badass sport truck off the show room floor. not a grocery getter with some upgrades...
+charlie jurek I'd like to see that. Like a tremor but with a 5L with 700+hp and a level kit with some fox suspension, rims and tires, and a few more goodies. Or even some type of air ride. I will say though if they were to bring back the tremor or a lighting type truck I'd like to see the 6.2L supercharged in it.

+charlie jurek That's not the point of this truck. This thing is not a racing machine, but a luxury truck with added handling, size, and a bunch of power. If they wanted to put together a "race/sport" vehicle they would have done just that, but this is not it. We are working on a build that is exactly what you said though, hopefully will have one in the next months

Clifford Purk, thats a good point. The f150 probably win anyways but dont race a 2013 truck with a 1990 truck. Now lets see a 2016 Chevy Camaro against a 1991 Ford Mustang so people can argue again. I drive a 14 f150 ecoboost limited so I know they're fast but race is not fair.

looks good. I wouldn't flaunt 700hp on the doors, in my opinion advertising your horsepower makes it lose respect. I'm no engineer but putting 700hp in an off road chassis is kinda counter intuitive. personally putting 700hp in a lower 2x2 street suspension would make more sense. but I'm sure Ford will make money on this. and what's that truck weigh? gotta be about 4k then being tall it's gonna catch air like a kite and slow not down

Yep a regular f150 weighs about 5700 I have the same truck just not shelby. The aluminum cut 700 pounds off. They also used lighter but stronger steel in the frame.

700 horsepower but when you gas it, it doesn't look like it's going anywhere. maybe it's the camera I don't know. looking at the speedometer and calculating the seconds it takes to get to 70mph, well my Nissan Titan matches it and its stock... not dissing on Ford but something's not right. I'm sure this truck will cost 70,000.... if the Ford EcoBoost is 61,000 fully loaded. I can almost bet this will be 10,000 more way to go ford.

Everything is recalibrated at Tuscany when they install the shelby supercharger. We'll post more info and 0-60 times when we actually get it!

ehhhhh. my 06 Cummins with a 6 speed will drag ass on that "700 hp" truck . mine puts 685 to the wheels plus it doesn't get 11 mpg and cost half as much lol

Are you implying that this truck is factory? It's a third part build. Ford motor company has zero involvement in this truck. And mine get 24 on the highway at 70 mph
