I love Mari Emmanuel. It is not childish for those that hold fast to the actual Trinity. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Of course she is the Mother of Christ. No one doubts that. The issue is, for example in this video, look behind the fine Bishop....you have Jesus on the alter. Who else is sharing that alter on the same level? Mother Mary. Veneration is extreme respect. Praying to her and idolizing her is wrong and unbiblical. "Church fathers said" equates to unbiblical....period.
I just got to 40:40 where this same question was asked and he brings up how Abraham was "worshipped" in the old testament and it was just meant as veneration or respect. That's great and all.....but no one in the Old Testament has ever prayed to Abraham. Yet today, it's happening on a wide scale with Mary. So the example given isn't even comparable. 🤷♂
