Now I understand the ending of the game and it's very nostalgic and cool. What actually happened was that Vez nan and King Denas went hand in hand with their story. For example: in the beginning they fought together, after which Denas defeated Vez nan, putting him in prison, and after a while Vez nan was the one who defeated Denas and held him captive, after a short time they fought together, as in the beginning, and then Vez nan hands the castle back to Denas, and he goes back to his tower with the crystal doing what he knows best. The game is quite poetic if you ask me because it was normal for ironhide to make a reference to the first game at the end of the game because kingdom rush was their first prototype computer game in flash on the internet so all their games are brilliant !!!:))))

I just got the game on the day of the release and god damn was it a banger. It has everything good kingdom rush vengeance had but none of the bad stuff, allow me to explain. People complained a lot about vengeance having so many OP towers and making the game very pay to win but in alliance, the game doesn't have as much paid towers and the eldritch channeler is actually free! Cozynez complained about vengeance being so different from the last 3 kingdom rush games because you get overrun by hella annoying tanky slow enemies instead of the fast paced liw hp but fast asf enemies in origins. Alliance balanced it out though, having more flying enemies than usual and a mix of strong slow and fast weak enemies. People also complained that vengeance was so easy compared to every kingdom rush game but alliance COMPLETELY BLEW MY EXPECTATIONS. Dawg, get this... Each KR game has three types of stages. In KR1 it's grass, snow, then hell. In KRF it's desert, jungle, caves. In KRO it's elf capital, magical mushroom lands, floating islands. In KRV it's Hell, Snow, Grass (backwards from KR1). What does this all have to do with difficulty? Well the first and second type of terrains are all easy but DAAWG... (Spoiler alert) Alliance at first glance only has two terrains, the arborean jungle territory and the forbidden canyons... BUT... THOSE TWO WERE SO HARD THAT I HAD TO RESTART ATLEAST 3 TIMES on FOUR LEVELS in the TWO TERRAINS. After beating the last canyon stage, I was focused on the game that I didn't notice that below the clouds in the menu, is another terrain type... Spoiler, it's a terrain made out of the big eye ball overseer's tentacles. Dawg I struggled so hard with the free towers that I STILL HAVENT BEATEN STAGE 15 The Eyesore tower level. Btw it was on Veteran NOT IMPOSSIBLE. Just wanted to comment this since there are no criticism yet in YT and a lot of people probably don't know if it's worth the money or not. Btw it IS worth the money dawg.
Yeah, i really like the difficulty of this game. It is basically the opposite of Vengeance: instead of slow bulky enemies, the game throws at you an *overwhelming* amount of weak, small, but very fast ones. I never seen this "horde" approach in KR game being made that interestingly good. When i first saw the description of those tiny tentacle squishy thingies which stated that they can bring down an army with their numbers, i was sceptical. But my gosh, the way they're made into the game with their spawning mechanic when they are hurled forward by another units on death, making it impossible to counter them all with just artillery? Brilliant. Also, the flying enemies in Alliance are a MENACE. I'd say, in 4 out of 5 occasions where i had to restart the level, it was because of a flying enemy. My only nitpick about this game is that barracks are kinda bad here. Paladins aren't able to hold neither the hordes of small fast enemies (there's just too many) nor a few big ones (paladins can't tank here). They only become sorta useful when upgraded to absolute max, which is not cool. The other barracks basically suffer from the same problem: all the units are just too squishy to hold the line on any point in any meaningful way. The stun abilities from towers and heroes + reinforcements can do all the stalling well enough.

The Paladins in my opinion can hold a big bulky dude if you have the healing prayer maxed and if you have Linirean Rebels for reinforcement instead of Crow Archers, then it's pretty east to stop hordes as long as if you have good dps but, still... There is really no good way to counter any enemy in Alliance (except for Cutthroat Rats) . Especially if it's a horde with small and weak and big and strong. But anyone else think that the Evolving Sturgeons are complete nightmare in their final form?
@@viro3307 You just need to build your defences in a way that those evolved flying things aren't able to get to the eye zone to transform, OR by using an excessive amount of crossbow forts
It feels weird not having a rain of fire ability. I enjoy having two heroes to juggle, though. I also like how they kept the changeable tower system and upgrade paths from Vengeance. Feels alot more dynamic than the linear upgrade tree of the first three games.
Also it gives a loot of confustion, if you played first part of iron marines you may know that Sha-tra has this gem after KR:frontiers, but then in vengeance he was defeated and gem was inside of overseer all this time?
Legends basically redcon that green hand being alien. Turns out it was the cult members. It's still interesting how exactly everything else happened. Not like I never seen villain artifact, or something he used way back when, got its own independent story arc in media before.
I'm waiting for somebody to upload a video of the Unblinded Cult's battle theme during the mid-game. Until then, I'll have your gameplay's "Bleak Valley" on loop. I finished the game last night. Feels like vengeance, especially with the individualist towers. Rush and frontiers felt great. Origins was standalone and this seems like a copy and paste of vengeance. Some stages were too easy and some were so scripted as far as what they wanted you to use. For example, in the in the first stage of last area, the eye on the ground calls for jetpack soldiers before the eye. Literally beat it on second try and got 3 stars. No sidequest stages after last boss which was truly a letdown. Never beat any kingdom rush game in 1 day and 3 started the entire game. Ridiculously easy and short

This is basically KRV. Each towers only have one specific function. I miss the old KR where t4 towers branch into two unique ones. The only upside is being able to use 2 heroes at once

The game is literally just a combination of old kingdom rush towers, maps, heroes. And there is nothing new that is unique. This game is just a cash grab. Sad too see the fall of Ironhide. The original 3 kingdom rush's will never be topped.
Stop the cap ffs. Only three towers were old and act very differently from their original counterpart. No hero was reused and the map is new with some references for lore reasons

How do I beat him?
The teleport is based on your tower order you built, try building tier 1 archers at the edges and he will never interfere with your middle towers
