Thanks so much for the history on the show. I do mini houses and just finished the inside of Genie's lair. I never thought to do just the bottle. The suggestion on buying the labels never occurred to me until You said it! I was going to paint it. Your presentation was so wonderful again thanks so much.

I have one of those bottles. I bought it at a flea market for THREE dollars! I don't think the man I bought it from knew what it was, so bonus for me. I think they are running around 100 dollars if you want one now.
I have one with the original label on it. Original cork, serial number etc. Mint. I would never paint the one with the label. I plan to paint one though. I have 3.

I was in an antique shop to day and happened to find a Jeannie bottle (Jim Beam) so I went ahead and got it. It only coast me $5.00 but it doesn't have the stopper. Still I think it was a steal of a deal. If you know where I can get a stopper please let me know.

Just bought 4 for 38 bucks on ebay. There were more than 10 million produced. Plus if you do a photo search you can find the original template used for the color era bottles.
I'm so happy I found this video! I googled the name and it came up on stay for about35 bucks but with shipping and handling and tax 48. Its light blue with a handle. And like you I always make artsy things for everyone else and not for myself until now! I can't wait to get it in the mail! Thank you for the video!

I found one on ebay, hasn't arrived yet but my wife is going to try to paint a bottle that I picked up (1964 JB) and i'm hoping this makes it easier for her to do. The bottle is for my 30yo daughter who has Down Syndrome... she's excited!
I have been thinking of doing an art project and wa-la I came across your How to Make Your Own Genie Bottle. I was a fan of "I Dream of Genie". That's clever. You made an evil Genie bottle. I can't paint, so I bought the purple mirrored one from Ebay. It looks pretty close to the TV bottle.
