I have adopted the mantra that as women first and foremost (setting aside for the moment, the roles we are assigned) To all love each other where we are. Right where we are in our perspective journeys. Do you know where your mom is in hers? Does she know where you are in yours? Does the journey we are blessed to be on, matter in the day to day? In my mind, when each one of us steps inward closer to the heart and mind of the other, we both end up connected. Who will step in boldly and say “I got you!”?
Geez... I so needed to see this on this snowy morning. I moved to a place that I absolutely did not want to be to care for my mom... the frustration of it all makes me ashamed but the goods days are few and worth it. Amen

Its a sad 😞 day when the person you should be the most mentally & emotionally connected to, barriers remain that keep us distant. I have tried & I don’t know what else to do. I suggested speaking to a therapist, & while she agreed there has been a series of excuses. It will be a waisted session because she wouldn’t be truthful & forthcoming. I will continue to pray 🙏🏾. I luv from a distance as well, a 600 mile distance because we live in different states. Life is short, as we witness everyday. I want to be surrounded with positive energy. I refuse ti except anything less.

Hi Dee! I’m sorry you haven’t been having a good week. Here’s a little something I like to do for times like that. 1)Take a shower and moisturize my body with soothing scents like baby lotion (not stimulating scents). 2) Put on my favorite pjs and socks. 3) Make some delicious hot chocolate just the way I like it. Serve it in my favorite mug with or without marshmallows on top depending on my mood. If you prefer warm milk or warm tea, do that. 4) Put Animal crackers or Ritz crackers or even cinnamon graham crackers on a little plate. 4) Snuggle up with a cozy throw/blanket and turn on a favorite show from childhood that makes me feel good like Gullah Gullah Island or Lambchop. 5) When the episode is over, I get a big towel and cover my pillow with it. I swipe a bit of Vix Vapor Rub under my nose, turn on the fan (or heater) on high for white noise, set my alarm for 30-45 minutes and lay down for a nap. I tell my brain, “You don’t have to go to sleep, but you do have to rest.” Then I close my eyes and focus on my breathing or count sheep. You can adapt this to what makes your inner child feel calm or you can try my inner child’s routine. I truly hope you feel better. Hugs and kisses from Ohio.

You’re words are always so encouraging. I’m a perfectionist and I always look back and I’m young but I look back and think if only I could’ve trusted God more, but the Holy Spirit has been given me perspective and I’ve felt guilty about things I did as a teenager even though I was a good kid, I didn’t live up to being what everyone wanted me to be and I felt like I was failing God where I eventually crumbled. Now though I’m trying to rebuild (I’m 22) and I’m trying not to worry that much about my future but take small steps to meet my goal of getting married and being a mother
Baby moved forward a man that looks back is not worthy of the kingdom. When you repented to God that was ground breaking. Your pass is just what it says. Your PASS. You’re words are always so encouraging. I’m a perfectionist and I always look back and I’m young but I look back and think if only I could’ve trusted God more, but the Holy Spirit has been given me perspective and I’ve felt guilty about things I did as a teenager even though I was a good kid, I didn’t live up to being what everyone wanted me to be and I felt like I was failing God where I eventually crumbled. Now though I’m trying to rebuild (I’m 22) and I’m trying not to worry that much about my future but take small steps to meet my goal of getting married and being a mother
Baby moved forward a man that looks back is not worthy of the kingdom. When you repented to God that was ground breaking. Your pass is just what it says. Your PASS. You can't change your teenage life. Foolish is bound in the heart of a child, but look at you now mature and an awesome person. Keep doing good. God bless you that you know better now.
Celene I too struggle with this, but we need to be kind to ourselves and think about the goodness of God. You are loved and God is proud of you, keep moving forward. You got this gurl with God's help of course. Blessings.
