Hello Coyote Montana, Just like to response that I did indeed retired from doing openings these days. After February 13, 2024 (the date I was suppose to do and upload openings of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes 4K, Columbia Classics Collection: Volume 4 4K, The Marvels 4K and Priscilla Blu-ray), repetition killed my interest in doing so these days (wasted nearly eight years). Also, disputing the copyright owners for the time the home media releases are mainly a pain in the ass these days (mainly with NBC Universal). That ends up screwing my viewing experience between watching them and doing the openings. Despite not coming back from the media opening these days, I do watch media regardless as a whole point for just the personal watching user purposes only. It just if/when I continue doing LaserDisc audio syncing from the Archive to the best BD/4K releases of the time (mainly the DTS ones), watching and preservation are the key to listen with. Then again, we do have our lives outside of social media. Since you mentioned The Mauritanian as I did do the US Blu-ray first until the France 4K release contains 7.1 audio instead of 5.1 unlike Universal's nor STXfilms' cheapness. It is not the film I would rewatch anytime soon (those are rented by the time I did the opening of these releases). It is disappointing to hear that, but you understand why I did indeed shut down (retired) my openings channel. Regardless, thanks for the unfortunate mentioning my channel's name.
Ever since I first discover you back in 2023 (the time I was traumatized to clickbait) that's when I saw the video of the open of The Mauritanian and I saw the other videos that you did and I like them. And I was also gonna get them on Blu-Ray+DVD for me to watch them and enjoy them. But ever since I was about to watch the video I first saw on your channel, I found out it was gone. I went down on the search and try to find it but it wasn't there. So when I went to the subscriptions where I subscribe to the channels including yours, I found your channel and that's when I saw that your videos were not there anymore and I was feeling down after those videos are gone. It is a shame my opening channel life ended already, but at least it does encourage others to do further direct capture openings as well (even on the 4K discs). It is not my cup of tea these days.
