I enjoy how you can explain what you're doing without perfect vision... I see well with my glasses and fought looking for a nut to my daughters bicycle I put together for Christmas. I can't imagine looking for one without my eyesight. You're teaching me plenty. If you didn't win Vice Grip Garages top prize, sell him one of your vehicles to him... that'll get him down to a fella. God bless and good luck.
I would have done that with these carburetors but the engine that they went on was not very healthy and the customer did not want to finish fixing the machine. There is a spring and screw between the two carburetors as you get those back together you can adjust how much the rear carburetor that is controlled by the other carburetor opens and closes it's throttle blade in relationship to the controlling carburetor. That's something that has to be done on the bench cuz you could not get to that screw on the machine. After that but I will air fuel ratio screws are usually really close and good enough at a turn and a half out from all the way in. Those screws are usually difficult to get to at best and you don't want to adjust them until after the machine is warm and be prepared to burn your hands if you don't have some sort of insulation between you and the engine yay. I'll do my best to do one of these videos you ever requested at a later time when I have another one of these machines come in I own one myself and will probably have to rebuild the carburetors on it as well.
It very well could be but I would make sure that it has a good seal and also make the shore that the air bleed that is around the little finger that sticks out at the top of the bladder is not missing or deteriorated and broken apart that will also cause it to immediately shut also make sure all vacuum hoses are connected correctly and also do the compression test on that front cylinder the cylinder that is attached to that carburetor could be low on compression which would have low vacuum which would not allow that carburetor to open
I don't know the technical name for I call it a transfer tube also there is a transfer tube for toolant between the carburetors as well one is for gas and 1 is for anniversaries I have not had any luck finding parts for these carburetors pretty much everything that is on them is unattainable
Not really I guess you would say the way these carburetors operate is very self feeling basically they are Velocity activated so the air velocity going through it is what gives it the amount of fuel it needs per cylinder so as long as the needles in the diaphragms and the slides are set to the same height and the Jets are the same size and everything is clear and clean the only thing that really needs to be set is the throttle blade location on both carburetors needing to be the same so one carburetor being cracked open a little less or a little more he's the only thing that's really possible that's what the little spring and screw is that's between the two carburetors making sure the linkage is tight and that the blades are opening and closing at the same rate or at the same location
I've seen some people reply in this Channel's comment section or another one video that I have. There is another machine that used similar carburetors from Kawasaki on it but it was a single cylinder machine. I think you have to modify the throttle linkage to make it work. If you have one that's not opening on more than likely you have a ruptured I'm sorry I haven't replied to very many messages in the last several months because I've been so busy with the small engine repair shop
I got to say you're the first to say pretty much anything negative. I don't guess they can all be winners and you can't please them all. LOL thanks for the comment anyway God bless you
I'm sorry if I don't say it in the video. But sometimes new orange like a little bit. Aggrease or Vaseline on them to slide in and out of the new location that they have to go into. Is there rain doesn't sit in the area? Then you probably grab your wrong one out of the reboot. Be careful, it should not be impossible to put to who rings and place. Sometimes. If they have to go over a tube, they actually are smaller than the two, but sail there supposed to be stretched over. The tube so that it thinks down the arena to fit in the tunnel that it is pressed into.
Hey do you know the exact size of the o rings for that cross over tube i ordered a kit off ebay and the idiots told me it was the whole complete kit everything orings gaskets but it's not did not come with the orings i bought the kit for
That is why I use the kit from All Balls it has all the O-rings in it I do not have the sizes of the O-rings you have to get the old O-rings out and then size them based on that it has to be an O-ring that is a little bit smaller inside diameter than what you're going to have on the transfer tube or send that curb kit back and get the carb kit for it from All Balls
Bare with me here I don’t know like anything 😂 so the little things you were pushing up around the 4:00min mark of the vid if one goes down fast and the other slower what does that mean
I'm very sorry it's taking me a month to catch your comment but I'm assuming you're talking about the slides that slide up and down inside the carburetor if one is sliding faster than the other is typically a are bleed or you could ever damaged bladder that is attached to the top of the slide valve as it slides open through vacuum it would be very difficult to explain it unless I know exactly what you're talking about I'm sorry if this doesn't help you at all but I'm trying LOL
You don't end up using everything out of a carburetor kit but if you go to All Balls you can get the carburetor kit and it comes with every o-ring you would need and there's no guess work. O'Reilly Auto Parts typically has a full o-ring set that you can pick and choose O-rings out of but a lot of times the diameter of the rubber is not correct exactly for what you need. They all balls kit is a really decent kit and completely has everything you need even Morse Bowl screws

Thank you for your comment God bless you and yours
Really helpfull
Thank you I'm glad it helped
Where did you order the kit from.
Can you make a video on how to synchronize the carbs and adjust them
I would have done that with these carburetors but the engine that they went on was not very healthy and the customer did not want to finish fixing the machine. Hey man I'm having issues with my front carb the plunger won't open, is the diaphragm busted?
It very well could be but I would make sure that it has a good seal and also make the shore that the air bleed that is around the little finger that sticks out at the top of the bladder is not missing or deteriorated and broken apart that will also cause it to immediately shut also make sure all vacuum hoses are connected correctly and also do the compression test on that front cylinder the cylinder that is attached to that carburetor could be low on compression which would have low vacuum which would not allow that carburetor to open
What is that little black tube called that youre holding that links the carbs together. I cant find it or the 2 seals on each end. Thanks!
I don't know the technical name for I call it a transfer tube also there is a transfer tube for toolant between the carburetors as well one is for gas and 1 is for anniversaries I have not had any luck finding parts for these carburetors pretty much everything that is on them is unattainable
Dont you have to synchronize the carbs if you pull them apart?
Does both values on carbs open when you give it gas. I only have one that opens.

I gotta tell you, watching this video is like having bamboo shoved under my fingernails!!!!!

I still don't know how you got the new o-ring to fit

I'd also mention on Facebook your name appears to be Blind Guys Garage. It's only an (s) added to Guy but it's important for promoting the channel.
I did not realize that the S was even there lol I'll get over there and fix it
His channel is Blind Guy Garage
There someone else that has Blind Guys Garage
Where can i get all of the o rings that goes between the carb?
