Well religion is powerful and controversial conversation to have. That’s exactly why we are here because of religion. There’s 2 things you never talk about during a get together with different families. Never bring up religion and politics. You’re gonna offend people and will have arguments. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but to others it is. My wife and her side is catholic and I’m Buddhist and they always try to get me to go to church every Sunday and tell me I need Jesus in my life and I should convert. I get very offended and very upset. I don’t care my wife and son are catholic , but let me believe what I want to, this is a free country. Just like stroud should have the freedom of speech to believe in whoever. This is the United States of America.
The problem is. This isn’t a party. It’s his interview asking how he feels about the game and what he’s thankful for. Nobody can dictate his opinions. If anyone gets offended by that, they need to go to therapy
