Oh dang, you finally did it! I've been waiting for this one! Hua Chenyu is such an amazing performer... he absolutely owns the stage. The only artist for which I'll actually watch full concert sets on UA-cam. The Mars concerts are insane... There you get to see his live band and orchestral accompaniment, plus he plays the piano, flute, and so much more. He's just insanely talented. And this song is one of my very favorites from him. I love the journey he takes us on. Love the !SHUT UP! part in the beginning, love the Sanskrit chant, and love how hard it goes at the end. Aghhhhh🥵 Anyway, big mahalos!!! 🎉
It will be cool if you do a video on Hua Chenyu’s song ‘A Flower in the Small Town’ and compare two versions. Like ‘Seven Personalities,’ this song is also written by him and he did another version with traditional Chinese instrumentation.
THIS was his New Year performance going into the homes of families around China. 😲 😂 🔥 He plays multiple wood, stringed, percussion instruments as well as piano. He knew what he wanted those musicians to play. The wooo sound was taught to him by Mongolian singer Tennger. Biggest singer in China... So biggest singer in the World. 😂 I'm still here. 👍
Im still here. Hua Chenyu just gets better and better. Listening to all his reportoir of his own music of almost 10 years, it still sounds fresh and relevant. Never dated. Always relate. And i love this performance so much. 🔥🔥🔥
I am still here. Oh, I love this song so much. He even did all the backing vocals himself. Best to hear the different layers with good headphones at the album version. 🤯 It is a track from his 4th album New World. This song is connected to his trilogy about mental health. Thank you for reacting to HuaHua again. Please check out more from his songs.
If this is your introduction to Hua Chenyu, you're a lucky man. He is without a doubt the best stage performer in the world. He performs with every fiber of his being and becomes the song, he is the character he's singing about. A shy and modest person offstage, he was born to become a titan onstage and connect with the audience like no one else. A musical genius with creativity off the charts, he constantly surprises us. I hope you'll stick with him for a bit. Nunchucks would be a good next choice. He didn't write that one, but he did rearrange a rap song into a masterpiece. It will blow your mind. Thanks for reacting to this beast from China.
Thank you for the reaction and analysis! It's very interesting to hear what a composer thinks about another composer, because Hua Chenyu composes all of his songs and they are all always unique and surprising!
I am truly stoked that you decided to do a Hua Chenyu reaction!! He is a spectacular and incredibly versatile talent. You'll love his remake of a Chinese folk song, "Nunchucks".
I'm still here. Interesting stuff in there, not all of it to my taste but hey it's always nice to get a look at obviously very talented musicians I would otherwise not be exposed to.
I"m still here and I want to hear more reactions to Hua Hua from you :) Your enthousiasm is contagious loll! What a great composer AND performer, love this guy! Thank you and take care.
Glad to see you back with Hua Hua's reaction! He is a very versatile & talented singer/artist/composer/song arranger. He is such an amazing & unique artist! Wish to see more of his video reaction, thanks! 🌺🌺🎤🎼🎶👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️💕💖😍😎
I'm still here! Thank you for a really enjoyable reaction, I love the versatility of Hua Chenyu, his own compositions like this are just amazing, he really is a talented composer and arranger and seems to instinctively know what sounds good. He does have quite a lot of early tracks that were written for him by songwriters, but as he has progressed more and more of his work is self-penned (musically) although he does employ lyricists to convey his meaning into words, like my favourite sad song "I really want myself back" As you like the rockier side, I'd recommend a couple of his early tracks like "I don't care " and "Aliens" but I'd really recommend "Bullfighting" & "Madhouse" amongst many many others. :) Thank you again.
Great reaction. Really enjoyed it. Please react more of Hua Chenyu stuff. I would suggest Bullfighting. I think you were talking about Zither a kind of traditional string instrument in Asia.
Hua Hua is a great composer-singer-performer 💖. I love your analysis. He always surprises us. You can react to his own compositions: Madhouse, Bullfight, Quasimodo's gift, or anyone You find. Or some covers like Child or Fake Monk (it is very interesting). Thank You for your reaction! More Hua Hua 💖 please!
Still here! This is my favourite song. Thank you! And Hua hua is working on a new album with some new songs in there. Really excited for this. Keep on him. You never know what kind of music he will bring to you!
I’m still here and really enjoyed your reaction and commentaries. I really do love what this young man can do. I’m 67 and never really enjoyed rap, however I have to make an exception with this artist. I absolutely love what he can do. I really recommend “Nunchucks”, “Bullfighting” and “Nanping Evening Bell” ( he and another artist had 24 hrs to rearrange this 50’s song). It’s absolutely incredible. Please enjoy whenever you can and much love and appreciation from California. ❤️🌈🍀😇🙏🏻❣️
Interesting surprise.. At first wasn't impressed, then some chords order started sounding familiarly epic... Had to listen till the end to see what would come... And lyrics seem pretty intelligent and far from today's mainstream pop stuff. Impressive. The build up in some parts is really familiar to stuff I've already heard from Muse, Dream Theater and other known bands mixed up in one song 🤔
I believe a reference for those beautiful high notes (08:25) could be Tengger (Tengri). Both were contestants in SINGER 2018 and Hua was very impressed by Tengger ( ua-cam.com/video/H2mvc0miJ-w/v-deo.html ). Looking forward for more Hua Chenyu. He is such a unique singer/artist. From 10:14 I even get some MUSE and Matthew Bellamy vibes.
Thank you , I loved yor reaction! I m an old fan of Hua Hua,,,may I suggest u to react to Forestella for their covers, mb the best all over the world.Samples : Bohemian rapsody, Scarborough fair, Je suis malade,Time in a bottle,,,and so many
could you check out and give reaction to "jazz jackrabbit 2 dark groove" its composer Brandon is also one of game music pioneers. Other song where he shines is "deus ex illuminati"
I'd like to throw you a nice curveball and suggest you check out NF -The Search. If you haven't heard of him, NF or Nate is a very lyrically rapper spitting very relatable and emotional music. It's an experience I think you'd really appreciate! 😉👋
Still here!
I'm still here. AND, he arranges everything and pre-records all of the background vocals.
I'm still here. 7 Personalities is one of my all time favorite song.
I'm still here. The heavy metal scream at the end is the best!!
That was an incredible song and performance. Thanks geebz.
AAAAh~ Waiting for long logn time~ I'm the first command
