If you have no idea how to register for your personal My Account with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), then this video is exactly what you need!
I will go through the entire registration process on the CRA website. Follow the steps and pause the video whenever you need and you’ll be able to register your account within minutes!
You can also apply to the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) after you get the My Account all set up! *YOU DO NOT NEED THE SECURITY CODE TO APPLY TO CERB*

People who get the error during registration.. this is for you.
For first timers submit your tax then CRA will acknowledge you with a code via email and saved your info in the CRA db. Then you can register with your SIN with the code that they sent to you.

Hi, What to write in the tax information written on line 101 after writing D.O.B ? That is the issue I am getting again and again and no answer in any of youtube video of any UA-camrs. This is my first time I filed my taxes and now trying to make my account of CRA.

I see.. I was kind of confuse when I did it by myself, I actually chose a the second option and see what will happen. I entered the temporary account and don't know exactly what am I gonna do, then I saw this video, I followed step by step and did it! but can I do that? I click on 2 options (the first and second option) and manage to sign in. Is that good or a bad thing, or it doesn't matter?
Apply first to CERB or EI , after your application they will give a temporary password and a confirmation # of your application, then wait for a week to get a mail from CRA .

Great video. Can you please create another one showing EXACTLY how to apply if you HAVE NOT filed taxes in over 3 years. I'm told there is a way to do it, but that it is more difficult.
Can you also explain error number ERR.210 which I keep receiving when I get to the request to enter my S.I.N. As much detail as possible regarding applying without up to date tax returns would be welcome indeed. Of course I have filed taxes many many many times in the past, just not recently. Please help, as the C.R.A. is very difficult to navigate.
Thank you for the comment! I looked into ERR.210 and found out that it means that you have not filed your taxes before. If you are trying to apply for CERB or CESB, then you can use the automated phone service at 1-800-959-2041and you will receive the money as a cheque via mail.
Where, exactly do I put the Security Code? I got it, but I still can't get signed on.
I haven't EVER been able to access the CRA page so I'd have to do my taxes on paper to find line 101. This is so frustrating. And, as usual, government websites take you in circles.
My small credit union isn't listed as a Sign On Partner. If I select CIBC, where I do have a small acct., if I close it, it will screw everything up. So I guess I'll have to keep some money in it just to sign on.

hello bro. is it safe to open cra account over the internet? I am not a computer savvy that is why it is very scary for me. And which is more safer, is it to open with Sign-in -partner or cra log in alone. it is look like that when you open sign in partner, it is look like that my account is also open to hacker.
Only issue I have with this is he doesn’t show where to locate line 101. Sounds silly but this is the only reason I cannot register my account. There is no line 101 on mine and when I tried line 150, it’s didn’t work

Or CRA identifies only the income tax returns and it accepts only income tax 101 line item?
Yes you will need the income tax return (line 101) to sign up for the CRA Account. Since you don't have that, you will have to call the CRA directly and they will be able to help you register over the phone. Call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281. They are open Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.

Security code for CRA account? No. Security code for Service Canada account? I think you have to do the online reporting to keep receiving your payment.
