How do you keep up with what you’ve put in a design? Do you write it down? This sounds really stupid, but I love just getting a bunch of things and go to town ( so to speak). I’ve been watching your videos and they’re🎉 giving me so much inspiration!
Well, for these wreaths I don’t because they’re just one of a kind using leftover supplies. But I have my listing photos, which shows everything I used. And I don’t have a ton of different designs either, so it’s not difficult to remember.
Loved them both but I have to go for the second one,I am really drawn to blues at the moment

Wanted to know how to cover the side of the grapevine, I watched how you laid out your pattern but did not see how to cover the side. I would have never thought to use all these colors together, really pretty.
I didn’t do anything extra to cover the sides. Just placing the florals where I did covers it for the most part. If you’re looking at the wreath directly from the side you can see grapevine. But the grapevine itself is beautiful and natural, so it’s not a bad thing.

Hey Julie, love both of the wreaths! The 2nd was my favorite. It was gorgeous just as a greenery wreath but when you added the white flowers, that just really popped it! It ended up looking like (to my eyes) an elegant wildflower meadow.
I was wondering if you would tell me what the greenery was that was the same color as the Dusty Miller but was much finer? I would appreciate it. Have an awesome day.
Hello! I’m Jenny ♥️. But I understand there are the Julie wreath makers who are very popular! lol. So glad you like these! The other one is also called a dusty miller. It’s just a different kind. Michaels calls it Dusty Miller when they have it, and Hobby Lobby calls it something else.

Where did you get the Nigella, aka love in a mist? It's gorgeous 😍 I was surprised you didn't use the fern like foliage . I think a Nigella wreath would be beautiful and a one of a kind.

Beautiful. Just a question about gluing. I notice you do not use a glue pot, but rather a glue gun. Any reason for that because I see most use a small electric pot to glue?
I have a glue pot and use it sometimes, like when I use floral foam. But I much prefer my glue gun. It’s faster and cleaner for me. And my kids often come in and out of my wreath room and I don’t want them to get burned.

Where do you get your floral holders on your wall in your workroom?

I started out making my wreaths flat on a table but I found that my perspective would be off..in other words when I put it on an easel the sign might be at wrong angle, the bow too forward if you know what I mean? Using an easel at least I feel I'm looking directly at it to see it's shape and angles better. Being so short as I am on a table I don't have the height t really look down at it! You make it look so smooth going!
