This drama reminds me of the Bruno Mars song “When I was your man” expressing the regret after breaking up at not being a good partner when they were together then after the break up trying to make up for his mistakes by doing things like eating his wife’s food that he never ate before, showing interest in her talents, setting fireworks for her on new years, but I though it was too little too late. I felt like her response to his efforts should be like the Miley song when she should realize she can buy her own flowers, go dancing without him & live a better life without him. My mom left my dad & it was also too late for him to repent after all the abuse & poor treatment. She used to wait around for him with dinner ready only he’d never make it home either, but she never went back to him. My stepdad is an amazing husband & father. So ladies move on if he doesn’t treat you right. There’s much better men out there or just love yourself & be alone if he doesn’t treasure you.
I like yur comment. I also think that some things can't be repaired and is better to turn new page than dwell in toxic relationship. ML was too proud, too reluctant to admit he likes FLr, it was hard to watch how he jumps up and down making FL more and more misunderstand him.
In real life many people are not brave enough to start anew and many think they don't deserve better. I'm glad your mom did it and carved a better future for both of you.
@@rcheck1008 I think such plots where ML changes withouth any therapy and in short time - are actually an intentional manipulation to wire women in beleiving in fairytails. I'm too annoyed when ending puts victim and her torturer together again. Man who doesn't heal himself and learn to express anger withouth violence - will not last long before he goes back to same behaviour patterns. Cheaters will cheat again, abusers will abuse again unles they go through long and hard effort to be a better person.

This was pretty hilarious. Had some great lines. I love the Mother-in-law saying to the ML to go get a DNA test because she and her husband can't have a son as stupid as him about how he was handling the divorce. And lol, after they divorce, the mom was like the FL can be my daughter, you guys can be siblings. HAHAHAHA. The ML getting cut off by the FL a lot of the times were very entertaining.

This was an interesting drama. I am conflicted in my feelings about it. A strong FL.,trying to divorce what appeared to be an indifferent ML I liked she gave as good as she got. Through most of the drama I wanted to see her get her divorce. But by the end I wanted to see them together. The ending is so quick it really doesn't give you time to digest it. Worth watching though.
So, was their 3 year marriage literally just him stopping by every few weeks, her making dinner for him every night and him ignoring her? Her working in her studio and him ignoring her? I’m trying to picture in my mind what the heck they did for 3 years because it sure wasn’t having an actual relationship. Even if he is the lowest EQ person in the world, what exactly did he think their relationship was for 3 years? They weren’t in love, they weren’t partners, they weren’t usually even in the same room. They were no intimate once during the three years. He never announced their marriage until after she asked for divorce. This doesn’t even remotely sound believable. It is like he had some checklist: [x] job, [x] house, [x] wife and then went on his merry way never giving a thought or care to her existence.
So I just watched again, and from what I can make of it is...he knew her family needed money, she was going to ask the other guy to marry her to get it, but he refused. It seems she decided to sleep Sith the other guy was n order to force a marriage ( some odd thing about a special watch that I don't get) anyway she thinks she is with the other guy when she sleeps with the husband ..he wanted her to sleep with him, but got mad when she called out the house there guys name and was upset the next day to be with the husband.. So it seems he resented having to marry her when she really didn't want him. And she didn't love him at the start either. So I think the distance started like that but he never believed she cared for him so he didn't bother to come home. But she did start to care and became hurt when he started spending time with the mistress., who he slept with supposedly one time. So I think it snowballed from there to the point of divorce. But we then find out, he paid off her hateful family to free her from them, which she didn't know until late. Underneath it all he basically didn't want to be rejected by her so he stayed away. She wanted him to only be with her but he got tangled up in a scheme by the mistress. So it was just a mess of errors on both sides. Anyway that's how I saw it from the second time I watched.
yeah . for the buildup of their crappy marriage they patched up very quickly ..i would have appreciated a time lap of few years ... during which he reflects on his wrongdoings ..this ending was not convincing enough for me NGL

@@saveearth21centurythese dramas never do justice to the ending and are always thin on retribution by the ml. Feels like they prefer to just drag out the misunderstandings! It's rare to find good dramas where the main leads are mature enough to talk out their problems then build a trusting relationship to take on the enemies together. Those are the kinds of dramas I really like. Having said that, this one was well acted.

I never felt so exhausted watching this one. What a exhausting pair. The assistent tells before checking what's the real truth. Also ML tries to force her. Don't he know how to treat his wife. He sure knows how to treat the other woman. Also when you sign a contract. All papers need initials otherwise you can switch the pages. Please do it right.

劇中的男主角就是個標準型的渣男老公, 口中說愛著老婆, 不肯離婚又跟綠茶小三不避諱的公開進出. 最後還有正當理由, 得到老婆的原諒了~ (結婚出軌三年的劣根性行為, 還是在的, 改不了 ), 好像沒看過有哪個戲劇, 有個腦袋正常編劇, 能寫出一個合理性的結局.

So for 3 years he’s ignored his wife, kept a mistress and shown his wife absolutely no affection but now she wants a divorce he’s acting like he’s been wronged and he accuses her of being unfaithful when he’s got another woman hanging off him like a leech, pathetic man using money to force his wife to stay, she paid her debt with 3 years of marriage and then he tricked her with a contract and voided the original agreement so she had no choice but to stay. Even when he finds out his mistress is trying to kill his wife who he says he loves 😂😂 he still won’t give her up.

Can I add I laughed all the way to the end? Funniest couple of the year award. The script is so bad it is good. She did have some brilliant comebacks, though--Mr. Bo was shut down marvelously by some great lines.

這個劇男主女主的個性都不讓人喜歡，一個寵著白月光，不顧老婆的感受，一個從片頭開始講離婚，都演到一半了，也沒結果，沒完沒了的，兩個都腦殘被心機女耍的團團轉，看的都煩。
女主不跟渣男離的乾淨，確實不怎樣。這劇本不好+1
小说中记得好像本来就是男主暗恋女主，正好遇到沈家遇到困难找煜城帮不上忙，聂煜城就是一个伪君子，因为聂煜城根本就帮不上忙。他正好趁人之危
說的很有見地，一針見血，很認同你的看法。
本劇的人設都有問題，男主結婚卻對他的老婆棄之不顧，一心寵着白月光，女主一心求去，一句我們離婚吧，離婚後又一句我們已經離婚了講到劇都快結束了還沒完，她應該跟那個男二切乾淨一點才對。以至於從頭到尾一直誤會，這劇是好看，演員顏值也高，就是誤會一直太多了，看的有點煩。

个人还是不喜欢男主的拖泥带水和不果断。和恶毒女配为了什么人情债纠缠不清。自己和恶毒女配勾肩搭背，出双入对，为她做不同事情，就不觉得自己会让人误会出轨。而女主跟男二说个话，因为自己吃醋就一直污蔑女主和对方拉拉扯扯。而且作为霸总，就算第一晚喊的不是你，不会想办法把心赢过来，让女主忘了男二吗？ 都敢骗婚了，怎么不敢争取啊？太窝囊了。最过分的是冷暴力女主三年。宁愿伤害女主三年也不去努力争取！而且超讨厌让男主为女主挡死就什么也不需要认错，不需要反思改过就和好的剧情！气死了。

I don't understand ML's logic he setup FL where she would have to marry him, because he was already infatuated/ in love with her. But the three years they were married he avoided her, didn't come home and gave her no affection or intimacy. What was the point of it all and he was actually shocked FL asked him for a divorce and kept pushing for it.

You are right, he doesn’t love her! Infatuated is a good term, or obsession/possession. If he actually loved her he would care about her, her wants, her needs, and make an effort to be with her. He does none of this. He does not respect her or communicate with her or show her any affection.
The screen writers must have brain damage to think this story makes any sense.
Also, why would SHE love HIM. We have seen nothing for her to fall in love with him. Such a dissatisfying ridiculous script where two people in a 3 year “marriage” where they didn’t see one another, much less have any sort of intimacy-and we are expected to believe there is “love” here? 😂😂😂
Frankly it is horrifying to find out how he trapped her into marrying him! That is some manipulative psychopath behavior!
One thing that makes sense is he wanted her, but she wanted to other guy..so that's why he was avoiding her. Cause he knew she wanted someone else.

The whole trick her into marriage makes no sense if he never even tried to seduce/woo his wife. When he refuse to learn anything about her; basically neglected her. He thought lowly of her. He never even told people she was his wife. So this “twist” of manipulating a marriage to her makes no logical sense.

He treats her as a possession, sure, but has never shown any actual feelings for her. And he spent 3 years of marriage to her ignoring her, neglecting her, and they never kissed or slept together. He is delusional if he thinks they have any sort of actual marriage!
She said he only came home a dozen of times. I was 😮why is she even tolerating him at all or why is he chasing her?? The redemption wasnt enough at all. I still came out of it thinking he is annoyed that this "thing" he funded/bailed out and helped, dares to leave me.
... Like writers tell us what it is then he liked? The more we hear that shes multifaceted and he didnt even know? He really saw it contractual marriage? Right?

Could you imagine the pain of taking all time it took for planning, shopping, meal prep and cooking just to have him not show up. In those 3 years, I wonder how many hours he did spend with her that wasn't a business function or sleeping. I mean really sleeping. It's already been established that they were not intimate. Makes you wonder if he had had dinner with the FL2.

People have to be punished, retribution and karma should work in these dramas. You knew the amount of pain you were inflicting on people but it did not matter. Even the most uneducated person knows not to jump to conclusions yet we have a guy who is apparently really smart and runs multi businesses but is so gullible

Ok after watching almost to the end, i understand the plot, ok he actually like her from the beginning but she has bf, so he did some trick so that they slept together n forced to be married, he ignored her becoz he thought she only love other guy while she felt abandoned n thought he love his mistress...well well well this drama similar with elvis han n sun yi drama, 'Siege in Fog'...the plot very2 interesting, i like u but i thought u like others...i hate you but slowly i fall for you...hurmmmmm

Good movie. Good looking ML & beautiful FL had many problems. Glad they resolved them. The lying actress created many misunderstandings, created problems on purpose, made events look like something different from reality, & attempted murder. I still do not know why ML ignored his wife for 3 years with no sex, not coming home for dinner when she had cooked it for him, & not knowing she could restore antiques when she a work shop, etc. He appeared to ignore is wife completely. Frankly, I’m not glad they resolved their “misunderstandings” because we are left with an arrogant, controlling, col man who manipulated the female lead into marrying him and then, when she tried her best to be a good wife, chose to neglect and abandon her. That was not a “misunderstanding”. I can’t believe he actually loved her given how he treated her, but it’s even less convincing that she would love him, given that he has shown her zero kindness or love.
Bizarre storyline that is really unsatisfying.
What the use of his trick to get her and neglect her for three years, it's not love at all, his so selfish, not satisfied with what the story had end

Although there was so much over the tops, the acting of the leads are great I like the FL here, she's very resilient and dignified. A good example for women
Afte all they went thru, the exhusband is still a jerk and does not respect her ex-wife. Imagine him pulling ang pushing her most of the time that it is a miracle that she did not suffer dislocation of her arm, or strangling her. If the other woman is just a sister yo him, why cant he just say no to her or cut off whatsoever relations with her clearly and completely. He is so wavering and ambivalent to this clingy leechy woman

I really enjoyed this version. Very much different than the other story lines with the same theme. I think all the actors did an amazing job. I have to save this version.

I just watched this drama because I like the actors and actresses they are pretty. But I hate this plot so much can you really love a person and ignore her (not only in bed) for 3 years? He did not try, except for that one time he never tried again in 3 years? When the girl was there cooking, taking care of his family, trying to be a wife but there was no husband, even worse he was going out with another woman (doesn't matter the reason, he had 3 years!), buying things for other women, things his wife wanted he was gifting to another woman. Unacceptable. This man should be alone. FL you have a horrible taste in man. I like that SML gave her the money, the other version I watched he did not help her at all. ML is a joker, treated FL like total shit for 3 years but the only reason he thinks she wants to leave him is because of another man hahaha I wish I had straight-man confidence, I guess he never looked at himself in the mirror, you are not all that my friend, you are almost nothing, the only good thing about ML in this show is that he is rich. Period. The `forgive accident` was so lame, FL deserved someone better but it is so clear that she liked him. FL should find a psychologist to stop choosing a man who treats her like rubbish.
