Went to Walmart to pickup some items for a trip. They said there were only two registers taking credit card. Every other register was accepting debit just fine. The employee working checkout said it's a new thing that just happened.

What do you say when you look back and notice that the FED always follows the 2-year treasury - when the yield curve officially uninverts the FED has always dropped rates (after the 2 year rate drops) - market crashes - recession kicks in.

I track inflation since 1972. Since I was a child, inflation at 4% was the norm. It is currently about 3.8%. I have no issue with a 2% inflation rate for a gaol but I will plan for 4%.
