I dont comment much on videos but ur drumming has earnt my respect. Your fills and double bass work and those little snare rolls in between the fills make it sound so great and unique. You really know how to hit those skins!
Holy SHIT, dude! I'm on the other end of the rhythm section -- I play bass, and this song has been a project for me for a while now. Amazing to see how the other half of the rhythm section works on this song. Great work. Seriously. Ima keep grinding on this tune now. Godspeed!
Thanks for the kind words good sir! I have another one that unfortunately I only uploaded to Facebook, please feel free to watch it - fb.watch/mLy7cgwpih/
Best interpretation & execution ive seen in a long time, how long did it take you to notate & chart each part for this song , just so i can get a realistic time frame if i was to try such an epic song , keep it up dude , you've got great feel , it doesn't sound machincal but very fluid & soulful as the original , Sean Reinert would be proud 😉
Thanks man, I really appreciate it, Sean's interpretation in Human has always been and endless source of inspiration for me. 🙏🏽 I usually don't notate anything but rather try to construct my parts around the more distinctive phrases of the song and work my way up from there. If you listen to Death for long enough, you'll realize Chuck's music has a very distinctive structure that revolve around intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge/guitar solo, then it repeats all over again. So basically what I'm playing is not 100% accurate but rather a simplified version for myself to remember the whole thing more easily. What I'll do is I'd listen to each section of the song and try to play the parts as close to the original, and since basically after the guitar solo you can just copy/paste everything you already played prior to the solo, you can either try to catch the little variations or come up with your own, but of course it has to make sense with the rest of the music (note spacing, subdivisions, dynamics, etc.). IMO that's the best way to approach someone else's technical playing while adding your own touch to the song. Hope it helps, and sorry for the long post. lol

Cool❤
Why so few views? Very good performance
Because mankind has become so mediocre that it can’t even sense what excellent music is.

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. 🙏
That's brutal. You don't need triggers to sound tight and precise.
Very nice. Would be even better with better recording equipment. Your talent is worth it, imo
Thank you for honoring Sean and Chuck. Stellar playing, Aldo!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! 🙏
👏👏👏phenomenal playing and I absolutely loved the raw sound, the cymbals sound great and specially with how you use them! earned a sub🤘

Very sick!!
Great playing! What kind of ride is that?
It is a custom model made by a mexican brand named Owl Cymbals, inspired in a Sabian HH Power Bell Ride.
I was going to say it sounded a lot like Gene Hoglan's HH ride@@AldoMetalDrums
I like your ride cymbal.
Great job!

You cool man❤
Nice drumming, what is that splash cymbal,it sounds good , i remember seeing Death, lack of compression video, then i was hooked
Thanks! It’s an 8” bright splash from a Mexican brand named Owl Cymbals. The entire cymbal setup in this video is from their catalog.
2:07
That's nice. But the track could be louder ✌️
Very close to the original !! And your ride cymbal is incredible ! Do you have any drum sheet of the song ? Or do you just play by ear ?
Thanks man! I play mostly by ear but also borrow ideas from live versions of whatever footage I can find of the original drummers.
Awesome stuff! Are you left handed?
Yes I am. Thanks for watching! 🤘🏼
Que platillos usas?
El set completo es de la marca Owl Cymbals. 👌🏼
