Calcharo looks so cool to watch, I want to build mine now even though he's just at S0. I do have Yinlin so it could help. If only building characters didn't cost so much.
@miggy3611 love that you're considering it, he's a great char and fun to play, you'll always get more overtime so I'd say if you find yourself building Lee instead just keep him open as an option, he can perform far beyond his expectation with a bit of skill behind the pilot.
u only gain 30% more dmg at s6, which can be made up for with good echoes, I got better echoes than he does, so my dmg is pretty close and it could get much better, Yinlin on the other hand gets way more dmg from sequences and I haven't even invested in her much, atm she barely even helps my Calcharo cause of the big disparity, I need to invest more into her.

I'll get Yao and keep him S0 or maybe 2 at most but Calcharo is a lifestyle. I'll make a Calcharo guide or rather how I play calcharo video soon because even I am learning new things all the time that's worth sharing. I'm glad the videos gave you some confidence in him tho, my GFs acc that I also use has a Geared s0 calcharo so I'll probably make videos with him also to keep the content relative to more F2P situations also. As much as I've seen people argue for Yinlin on a bird, I could never. I have mine also on a void set. I gave her what was leftover from farming Calcharo. I can't disrespect my girl like that and give her chicken. She deserves the finest electrical beast.

ya those 6 phantoms in the 1 Ult window are nasty, it was honestly my motivation to S6 him i wanted to see those phantoms so bad, they barely appear on screen but the Dmg is satisfying.
@@rengi10 I wished his dodge counters gained stacks to his forte circuit. I have him at S1 which helps with his energy requirements as well as lustrous razor so I only need to work on his crit stats. I wished his S2 was a buff to his forte instead of outro skill.
@@Morichoradio Those would be amazing buffs, i especially like the idea of her dodge counter giving a stack. his S2 and 5 to me are the most egregiously bad things in his kit, i would have loved if it improved something about Mercy like maybe added another phantom to Mercy and DM.
When I was first building Yinlin, I tried to use moonlight set. But it was hard to build moonlight set and I couldn't find good 3 cost echoes so I built another Void thunder set for Yinlin and honestly it was a bit better. I have been using duo dps built for Yinlin almost since.
Ya I always found that her kit was way too geared towards doing damage to sacrifice the damage for a calcharo buff. Those numbers he does looks pretty as hell tho.
@@rengi10 Yeah, Yinlin is all about how we want to use her. We can use her as a sub dps with another main dps but I find the duo dps build way more exciting to play.

People undermine Kakarot so much but pulling off damn near infinite combos by chaining different attacks with him never gets old Thanks for the songs though. You should start putting then on the description cuz people are more likely to ignore it in the videos as they're busy with all the action Also, people say Kakarot's Sephiroth... I say Kakarot's Itto who picked up a different identity. Same white hair, same bang, similar build, tall, lean, aggressive greatsword fighting style, etc.

I'll take the advice on adding them to the description tho, it's something I overlooked. I kept pushing my limits with Kakarot over the past week and finally feel near a sense of satisfaction then I saw the swap combos with changli now I'm about to do a whole set of videos based around other teams.

@gps069 I'd love for that to be true but from the info I've seen about her I can't say I have any reason to be excited, it seems it's a crit rate increase which does add a damage consistency increase but I don't hear anything about a general damage increase like a deepen, if you were already going to crit this essentially becomes a non factor and the stuff like perfect dodge and damage absorb are more QoL that could have been avoided by manuBoi. Performing them. She definitely will raise the skill floor and make more people comfortable using him if these are true definitely, but on the other end the value goes down compared to verina, as far as considering just these details that is, if she does something else I didn't hear let me know tho I'd gladly like to have another verina option/ upgrade for my boi.
@@rengi10 that is a very good input you got there bro, I had seen a leak stating that shorekeeper will also be providing additional DMG (not specified yet) and most importantly a damage block (but some kind of limited blocks via stacks). I'm assuming the block damage (hopefully it would also be interrupt resistance) mean you can do the full 3 DMs without worrying of messing it up, like when the enemy attacks and you have to dodge which his dodge counter doesn't add up stack. Hopefully our boi gets back on track with her 👊
@gps069 I haven't followed her too much yet so I'm hoping you're take is more spot on than mine. I like the design of the char so far so if she does buff crit rate( I use lustrous so that could still be pretty good for me) and some general dmg up that would be epic, she would probably get LB'd easily for me if they make it sound juicy enough. Here's to hoping she rounds out Calcharo's issues so more people can enjoy the king.
Give me 3months still i think won't do better like how u play Calcharo..i want to get him but knowing how hard to pilot him makes me a bit hesitate..i don't have Yinlin btw..the way u use Calcharo..so commendable 👍👍

Learning is honestly the most fun part of the process for me, I didn't even think I could get any better than I was a week of 2 weeks ago but I believe as long as you want to you'll see improvements 100%. He pairs really well with changli also and I'll be making videos about it but it will be in a few days, in the meantime I just dropped a guide and a video killing the heron in less than 1 minute so check it out and see if you like it more than this one.

i wanna ask, have you considered using an ATK 3 cost instead of double Electro? im thinking it might be a decent dps increase for you since your S3 & S4 already provide you with a nice chunk of electro dmg.
@vikscliq could be a viable change should you have a good piece but ultimately the damage gain from atk% over a second electro piece is super negligible, it's one of those if you hadn't completed a set before sure go ahead but if you did it becomes hard to justify that farm. Likely I won't because I already farmed 2 electro sets but it should be somewhere between a 1-3% damage difference, don't remember exactly.
@currentlyvibing9916 that's one way to look at it, unless you plan on max LBing XY, it's likely you're calcharo would have gotten easier sequences overtime and if played right would still outdamage him anyway until a certain point, plus from what I've seen the gap is getting less and less the closer he is to releasing. Still going to be a stronger unit tho, alot easier to get his optimal situations off than calcharo too

@currentlyvibing9916 fair complaint, I have a bias on the idea of faulting the character if as the player I knew it was going to happen, if it's something I could have adapted to I tend to just look at it as shit I could have did something different to make up for that. It's not in all cases that line of thinking works tho, being forced to miss a DM is complete ass but I do consider it as apart of getting that perfect run knowing it wasn't easily achievable, I'd likely fall back on XY when I want to do something without the same level of effort, I don't always feel like trying to reinvent the wheel when I'm farming too so I feel that.

@doedoel035 oh Death Messengers, Calcharo can land 3 in a tight window of 11 seconds during his ult (special cases 4). But most people struggle with consistently getting all 3 so it's apart of why they deem him as bad or difficult to play.
