    It’s day 21. I’m speedrunning all the way to 2000 ELO and I need to accomplish it by New Year (2024!).
    RULE 1: Only Rapid Games.
    RULE 2: I have to explain every single move I play.
    RULE 3: If I lose a game, there will be a punishment for the next game.

      Just develop your pieces and avoid 1 move blunders ....you can easily pass 1100 elo

      lol man i think you can do it. try doing some puzzles and longer games for more thinking time. (I do 15|10 because for some reason people are smarter on regular 10 minute)

    If you're a Finn, it's a kind of a rule that you have to cheer for a Finn if you see one in any international context. So how excited was I to see akahilalu get the win in game 3!

    Mestra, a very beloved Brazilian youtuber called Raffael Chess did the "Grob Challenge", where he creates a new account and goes up to 2200 playing just GROB (and BORG as black), I would think it would be fun if you tried something similar

    8:31 Bxc6+ is crushing, but your Ra7 move should also have been.

    In the first game after Kd6 you could have simply taken the opponent's queen.

    8:33 Move is bishop takes check, if queen takes, rook takes rook check, king takes rook, queen takes queen, so, the king has to move to e7, queen b4 check, queen blocks (only option), then rook a7, rook d7 covers... Rook d7 mate (bishop is protecting the rook. 😊 If king moves to d6 (not e7), queen b4 check, king runs to e5, rook a5 is check mate! 🎉I tried also the move knight d4, threatening many things... If rook takes rook on a8, there is bishop takes knight check, king has to move ... If king c8, queen takes rook with check, so king e7 is the only move, then queen b4 check... But the king scapes on d8. 😅

      BxC6+ is right but not for the reason you said:)
      After Qxc6 Rxd8+ he can play Rxd8 instead of Kxd8👍
      So after Qxc6 you play Ra7+ you either win the queen right away after for example Ke8 or your opponent plays Kd6 which loses to Ra6

    6:02 Why didn't she take the black queen? The problem was Rd1#, but since the black king moved to d6, that prevented the black rook from going Rd1#

      If she took the Q then Ra8 forces the Q away followed by Ra1+ and mate.

    In the first game Bishop takes c6 wins after a tough game. Alessia is great but not castling and telling stories got her a draw in the end....

      @@konroh2 a1 è coperta dal l’alfiere. Se il re mangia l’alfiere la regina ha comunque uno scacco per liberarsi e poi può mettere il re al sicuro dal matto

      cause rook h8 is actually a threat to win the queen ("maybe") cause if queen moves to some other square without bothering rook h8 to Ra1 is of course mate ... but though she can move back with queen giving check on d4 square,.... so if what I said is wrong anyone can correct me🙂

      @@kazusss I think there was also a king and rook checkmate somewhere around 7:45 , but at that point both players were making moves at such a speed it's hard to notice.

    I enjoy the majority of your videos, including the first speedrun to 2000. But what is the point in repeated speedruns to 2000, we know you can speedrun it with minimal losses and beat up on the lower rated players, different content please.
