It's even sadder to think about how some of these people went to school for journalism. Like you went to school and these are the types of questions you're asking. I took a journalism class in high school, which was my most difficult class I've ever taken, and we had better questions for mock interviews that we did.

Funny thing is in Korea if a idol or actor comes back with a heated response to a very rude question they are attacked by the fan base and put at risk their career. So they have to sit there and smile

A lot of people don't know she was born in Ukraine and lived there until she was 7 years old. At that time in the 80's under Soviet control, children weren't taught the Ukrainian language until elementary school, so she only knew Russian at the time she came to the USA.

Then she could have said yes or no and if the answer was yes she could have explained a bit further as it would have been interesting to know more about how she prepared for the Film. However the way he phrased it was a bit weird.

It was very calm, but the way she asked him was very sly.

Yea ofc they aren’t the worst questions in the world, but they are passively rude so that they can still ask the questions. But they all undermine the work that these ppl (especially women) are doing. It’s the fact that they are asking these questions to get smth out of the celebrity so the clip goes viral or smth rather than asking actual important questions

It would make sense if they also asked that of the men in the same context. But they ask the man a deep meaningful question and then turn around and ask her something stupid and shallow like that.

@@aposslex The best kind of talk-back I've heard from a celebrity was actually, ironically, a K-pop singer, Irene from Red Velvet was in an interview with her group and someone, somewhat subtly, was asking her what her sexuality was and if she and Wendy, most of us fans already assume is true, are dating irl, and she calmly just asked him who he liked, with him saying he had a girlfriend, and then she proceeded to calmly say "lets move on?" and they moved on in the interview.
It was very calm, but the way she asked him was very sly.
no one is entitled to anyone's personal life just because of their jobs, they share what they feel comfortable even if it seems too much sometimes. if they don't want to talk about something it's their right, they're human, it's a job.

These aren’t rude questions. Rihanna over-sexualizes herself so she is inviting those questions. Some questions like “what special diet did you have” are incredibly benign.
So because a person talks about their sexuality the entire world/public in entitled to their private life? When someone is willing to share something they do so on their terms. Reporters and audiences aren't owed anything else.

Them aren’t over sensitive, they’re just dealing with a totally different scale compared to regular folks - you need boundaries to keep your privacy in the entertainment industry, being a doormat would only make them an easy target for tabloids.

@@davidmdertu1267 I think at least one (maybe more) of them still work as a part of OSSC behind the scenes. But the girls have always been much more open-minded and less conservative than some of the guys.
