We've seen flashes of how Jimmy wants us to play, and it's coming together nicely. Remember, this is a long term project. First half, we weren't all that bad. We did take our time getting into the game, but could've gone in at half time a couple of goals up. Into the second half, far more intensity, chances galore, goals galore and a very straightforward win against a team we've struggled against in the recent past.
It's coming together nicely. Now we just need the fans to show patience, and we're onto a winner with Jimmy.
If Aberdeen can start playing first half and not just waiting until the second, they could be a very strong side this year.
The approach will either work even better against stronger more aggressive teams, or perhaps not quite so well. Time will tell, potential is there in spades.
Even at 6-0 Dumbarton still held there own right up to the end of the first half.
It's great to see us bury lesser teams.

If results were a foregone conclusion then we would have beaten Darvel. No one would have predicted that result at ht when it was 0 - 0. The 1st 6 league games we don't play any of the Glasgow, Edinburgh teams or Dundee United. So we need to get off to a really good start. I am only given my opinion on what l have seen so far in 4 games we should be winning and winning comfortably.

I am not moaning about the scoreline. It was the failure again to put in a full 90mins. I know people will say it's the scoreline that matters and of course they are right. Maybe l am expecting too much as it's a new manager and it's early. But let's remember these were teams we should have been dominating and beaten.
