i used to think so too but bloom 3-0'd zomba when zomba 3-0'd lima.
Lima has a better grasp of Bayo tech but Bloom has better fundamentals.

As someone who plays Fox and Bayo often, she definitely loses the mu. Fox's pressure is really good against her, and because he falls so fast it's hard to get your combo starters at low to mid percents. Also, he's not even that easy to edgeguard, that's such a myth.

His recoveries make him susceptible to edge guards . If he does up B, you can spike him before he goes off . If he does side B, you can hit Fox also . I think what you mean is that Fox has mix ups to get back which is true but in theory, those moves put him in disadvantage

He's easy to edgeguard, that's not a myth. Bayo, on the otherhand, is not the best at edgeguarding fox though.
Like for example, sonic is arguably top 3 at edgeguarding in the game, but since Firefox blasts right through spring, sonic's edgeguarding game against fox is decent at best.

Yeah I agree fox beats bayo. It’s very possible for bayo, she can take some early smash attack stocks, and uptilt backair can kill at 70 at ledge, but in general it’s not good, fox also naturally falls out of all her kill combos, she has to opt for mid amounts of damage.

Bayo fox is arguably a -2 for bayo, -1 at best. He’s hard to combo and hard to kill, and bayo randomly explodes at 80% sometimes. He has a much better neutral, and bayo taking 50% damage from bats within actually matters a lot in this matchup because fox can frame trap bayo’s quite easily and she’ll take a lot of damage.

Fastfallers are easier to combo and Fox is extremely light with a susceptible recovery...

@@nathanlevesque7812 some characters combo fastfallers better than others, but bayo definitely isn’t one of the ones that comboes them well. You can see bloom often cutting combos off early, going for uptilt into upair as a full combo, no upair ladders or chains, and shorter special combos. Fox is kinda impossible to keep in a long combo as bayo, so I very much disagree.

Just make Bayo up air kill at like 100% and stay the same throughout the lower %'s. Wouldn't be that big of a buff.
Also idk about this being a bad MU. B/c the fursona falls fast, Bayo's heel slide - > upsmash is true.
