Oh my gosh, that's brilliant! The vinyl triangle would have saved me many, many... oh so many hours of tears and frustration, and re-do's. I love when a video teaches me and saves me time, money, and peace of mind. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you! I was so stuck! Needed to incorporate 2 vinyls into some what if a theme, but also didn’t want to cover all my glitter 😅 just LOVE your style, tips, and instruction ❤️🔥 love to your mom, as well 🤩
Oh my goodness, this is beyond my skills …. I’m are very good visual learner , maybe after a few more v shape work I might attempt this technique on a refurbished one 😅 ❤from TX
I've been a fan for a while. Love all your cups! With this one I was like oh no girl WHAT YOU DOING?! but the end result is absolutely stunning. I love it and how you tied it all together. ❤
Really looking forward to getting into this video and learning. Just joined your FB group also. I’ve watched your videos and commented on many. For a Valentine’s Day challenge, my friend/tumbler making guru and I are making tumblers of course. I’m to use 5 different types of items. I know a couple of your videos will inspire me so much! Thanks !
Very nice. I just started doing tumblers. Not enough confidence yet to go that complicated. I am still learning design space and how to use cricut. I love making cups but not in love with decals and vinyl yet. Thanks for great inspiration. hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
@@madebymal_studio ok. Im going to try. When I add triangle shape, keeping the lock on i adjusted height to 8.125". The width auto adjusted to 9.3" and the entire circumference of cup is 9.25". Looks like my triangle's ends will meet, so I'll need to adjust my diamond height.
I've made this cup 2 times using 20oz. My glitter spacing (the white around the diamond) doesn't come out like yours. I am going to try again 1 more time. I'm obviously missing something in the tutorial.
If you’re using a 20oz skinny, the width won’t be the same as the stubby I used in the video. You may need to decrease the width of your diamond shape to allow for the glitter spacing to be the right size.
Beautiful tumbler! Adding this design to my must try list. This tumbler is not only beautiful, but creative and unique as well. 🥰
Thank you so much ☺️
the touch of pink is soooo pretty!!! love this!
Thanks Wendy!! 💖

I love the different patterns and the way you applied the mica's! Way to think outside the box! 💜
Thank you so much! 😊
Do you sand your tumbler before you do the painting and glittering?
Yes. Sand with 60-80 grit sanding block and wash with dish soap and water
Just a question…could you have cut the rainbow vinyl the same shape as your red “not so removeable” vinyl so you might not waste too much?
I probably could have! But I wanted to make sure it fit right into the space I had taped off
Do you think this can be done on 20oz straight up skinny? Since you're only using the length of the cup?
Yes! You can do this technique on any cup that’s not tapered. Well, you could probably do it in a tapered cup too but that would be very hard! 🤣

@@madebymal_studio space is larger. So probably an increase is warranted. Thank you.
Why didn’t you just cut the vinyl? With your machine like you did the placement pieces
🤷🏼♀️ I made this like 2 years ago lol I might do it differently if I made it now.
Love this design. It’s beautiful!!!!!
