I used to play this game a lot. One of my favorite ps2 games. I really like the track design, the speed boosts were really satisfying to use. Weapon system was simple but good. And the soundtrack was the bomb, it had a good mix of drum and bass, rock, house. I still remember once you progress through the races you get sponsorships to better bikes which was so cool. Good times 😌😌
@@Runitback97 Nah, the road seem at first sight more interesting, but the overall coloring giving you that cool vibe was better in III and not even mentioning the flow of the courses. I really had high hopes for this one, but where III made it feel more like WipeOut (where the PS2 screwed up and many of the team went to work on XGRA III, they stubornly went back tot he old formula).
I never played this one I didn't know it existed so I can't be too biased but I did grow up with 3 got it when it released and was one of my faborite games for years. Still is. And I have to agree the talking heads and hud design as well as dark visuals make this game look much older. Where the music smooth atmosphere free visuals and customization of bikes along with banging tracks makes xg3 one of the best racers ever made

I LOVED the visuals. However, like many think, the gameplay wasn‘t as thrilling as the previous one. If only they‘d make a shiny new reboot to the series.

Ugh I low key want to become a game developer buy the rights to the entire game and just remake it just as is. Also give it a storyline and character and bike customization.
Really sad I missed the 4th game. For many years I was under the impression xg3 was the last in the series, as I consider myself a fan of all 3, well all 3 of 4 now. I run to the sound tracks of xg3 for Interval cardio. Ashamed I cant get the 4th game on steam.
Dolphin runs is flawlessly on any system these days. But don't be too hyped, it does not feel like III and went back to the original roots. So it's harder to get int he flow of racing.

This game is so fun, but REALLY HARD if you want to complete tasks AND get first place... it's awesomr as hell

XG3 had a better sense of speed and scale, but it was sparse in content. You unlocked pretty much everything after 250g
