- Former President Donald Trump holds a press conference Friday morning at Trump Tower, a day after he was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
Trump posted on his social media platform after leaving court Thursday that he would hold a press conference at 11 a.m. EST Friday.
The sentencing phase is set for July 11. He faces up to four years in prison or probation.
Legal experts believe Trump will not serve prison time because he has no criminal history and the crimes are considered non-violent.
Trump took to Truth Social after the guilty verdict, with a caption stating: THIS WAS A DISGRACE-A RIGGED TRIAL BY A CONFLICTED JUDGE WHO IS CORRUPT. WE WILL FIGHT FOR OUR CONSTITUTION-THIS IS LONG FROM OVER!"

I had seen excerpts from this, which seemed completely incoherent. Figured that, in fairness, I should watch the whole thing. Not surprisingly, it is even more incoherent and fact-free in its entirety. He seems exhausted, relies on written notes which barely keep him on point with his elliptical arguments, and in between flexes back to his top hits that aren't even on point.
