This interview leaves me very sad that Glenn is gone. I miss his perspective, his clever lyrics, his singing voice and great guitar playing. Its hard to find someone that influential, compelling and real. He understood the human experience and how to present it and make it resonate with us. Miss you man!

Articulate, intelligent, genuine, sincere, artistic and extremely intelligent. This is a great interview on both sides. This is what happens when there is a good interviewer who does research beforehand to ask intelligent questions that draw out the person they are interviewing, and when they let the person talk rather than talking over them.

What Glenn says at 9.00 is absolutely spot on ! What would he think of the dire situation today ?. My personal Eagles favorites with Glenn singing lead are 1) Lyin Eyes 2) Take it Easy 3) Tequila Sunrise.

To me every song is a story. When Glenn does it, it's like he's sitting down hanging out with you telling you about his day, like Take It Easy. I learned a lot about songwriting from him . I'll miss him personally, but he will always live on through his music.

Its actually Jackson Brown's song. The correct 'honest' thing to do would have been to give Jackson Brown the credit for his song 'Take it Easy' even though Glen did add to the lyrics 'some' and he held the 'e' in Easy as he sang the chorus.

Just because you have an opinion on "the environment" (as an example), doesn't mean you have the right to use a powerful media platform,(your band), to manipulate people. Your circle of influence is influenced....... If you're someone of influence in media, as the Eagles obviously were, you guys were automatically in a position to be manipulated by others that have an agenda. I'm actually surprised.. I'm not all that impressed with Glenn's level of sophistication. I think he'd be an easy target for those that have been undermining America for decades, and would want the Eagles as an unwitting participant. Perhaps that's why Don Felder and Glenn nearly came to blows after the concert in which frey was "kissing up to" Senator Cranston. I don't see a huge intellect in Frey. He has seemed to take a lot of personal credit for the band's music. I think credit, that Felder and others are more deserving of.
