I can’t imagine losing a child. It has to be so incredibly hard. I can relate to the grief of losing someone you love so deeply. It’s such a hard road! Prayers for you ❤
Thank you for saying so. I still can’t wrap my head around it. It’s been extremely hard. I see your tagline now & am very sorry you know deep grief in that. I will pray for you as well, my dear friend! ❤️
I’m so very sorry for the loss of your son. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers! Your videos are always so sweet, I’m really enjoying your channel!
UA-cam and reading has helped me so much too with a lot of healing over the years too. There's nothing like sharing God's love and receiving love in return🥰.
Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm so glad to hear you have found that here. Yes! I have been amazed at the kindness and love of all you sweet bookish friends to this newbie. Books and this community have been such a balm to my soul already.
I read Hope Between the Pages earlier this year - not my favorite Pepper Basham but I enjoyed it. I do like Erica Vetsch. Great Regency author. Julie Klassen - another favorite author! I enjoyed that one by her. What a gorgeous copy of Emma!!!!! 😍😍 I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the depth of your grief. Thank you for sharing with us and I hope you are able to read the book. 💖💖
Thank you for your sweet condolences. Missing my boy for sure. I hope I can read it to from someone who knows. Have no idea about the author tho.’ LOVE hearing your thoughts in the books & authors. Glad to hear than about Vetsch. Yes… only read one so far of Klassen’s that I haven’t cared for. And yes, I’m obsessed with this set of Austen books. Thank you! ❤️
Oh my goodness! So many great books! We seem to like so many of the same authors… Pepper Basham, Julie Klassen, Sarah Ladd.. so glad I found your channel. I’m so sorry for your loss. May the Lord provide peace to you and your family.
Awe. Thank you so much. Had a lot of fun sharing my crazy May TBR. That is awesome we love so many of the same authors. I'm giddy about all the opportunities to read great quality fiction with these authors since there are so many on their backlists. Have you read many of the three of them or just getting started like me? I appreciate your sweet condolences. There are no words. Certainly appreciate the prayer and your kindness! 💙
Oh, yay! I'm excited to read that one too!! I've always wanted to read her books - they are so beautiful. I bought 'The Letter From Briarton Park' a few months ago but haven't read it yet. Which ones have you read of hers so far that I should read?
Hello, I just found out about your channel today from a rabbit trail that started with @CandlewickLibrary. First and most importantly, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray God's comfort envelope you and give you peace that only his Holy Spirit can give. 🙏 A big hug to you from one mom to another. It is a challenge to find good quality, clean books for Christians. The Librarian of Boone's Hollow was tastefully done. I was impressed with how the author had the male lead character be such an upstanding example. In southern KY, we call them hollers.
Oh, thank you so much for your sweet condolences, virtual hug, and prayers. I surely appreciate them. 💙 Yes, very challenging to find good, edifying books in the sea of unnecessary “stuff” that gets more and more trendy to add in. I’m excited to start the Boone’s Hollow duology. Very good to know. And welcome! So glad you are here.
I'm nearing halfway into the Boone's HOllow book and it's so good. My Dad is from West Virginia and always referred to "the hollar" instead of hollow. haha I'm really enjoying the book so far. Thank you!
@@OldeAmericanSpirit haha, that's awesome. I have only driven through WV, nto visited. I love accents and vernacular of our U.S. I'm so happy you're enjoying the book. I am excited to hear your review and how the author ends it. =) It was the first (and currently only) book by Kim Vogel Sawyer that I've read. I'd like to read more if she's consistent in her writing.
@@BookZealots I enjoy hearing and learning about accents and vernacular too. I'm such a word nerd in every way. 🤓 This is my first Kim Vogel Sawyer too. Like you, now I'm curious to read more from her!

There are several of these I want to read. The only one I have actually read is The Apothecary’s Daughter, which is a very sweet read. 😊 That Emma edition is beautiful. I’m so sorry for your great loss. Sending so much love and saying so many prayers for you!
I'm not sure where my reply went that I sent to you last week. This comment thread can be rather confusing. Thank you so much for you sweet love and prayers sent my way. Thank you so much for being here and the kindness you've shown.
Thank you! I’m reading lots and loving everything so far. Yay! I started the lighthouse one last night and am about to sit down with it tonite. It is INCREDIBLE so far. 🤓 so glad you are here! ❤️
Looks like you've got lots of good books here! Would you want to buddy read Hope Between the Pages? I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it isn't exactly the same, but I had a miscarriage about a year and a half ago, so I know a little about that pain. *hugs*
Thank you so much, friend, for your sweet words about our loss. I am sorry for yours as well. [hugs hugs] The word devastated doesn't touch it. To be honest, I go back & forth between despair that there's nothing I can do about it & SO happy for him that he's home with Jesus in paradise - absolutely better off than he could ever be here. And I would LOVE to buddy read Hope Between the Pages 🤩🤩
