Due to how the toys merge or transform Into something more modern that for me kinda conveys a sense that Times have CHANGED with The world of toys in real life and that Toy Story maybe popular, but not as much as it used to be…. And that times had changed with every kid getting into stuff like Cocoa Melon or anything that’s childish of today. And the transformation of the toy for me serves as an unsettling metaphor that times aren’t the same as they used to be and that we don’t see these characters much out there anymore in stores. And it also serves as a sad reminder that nothing last forever.
