Here is a very robust Lego Technic turntable powered by a single Lego M motor.
It has a load capacity of 40kg.
You can choose the rotation speed by turning the variator on the Lego battery.
This design is very compact and solid, you can easily turn it upside down or even run it upside down.
Its mechanism is based on the ball bearing principle which makes its movement very smooth.
You can also build it in black.
    Original design by Bryan Guerrault.
➜ This model is a construction imagined without a pattern and created with my own lego pieces.

Bruh I literally just built that ball bearing turntable mechanism back in March for a school project and upped it to 15kg. If only you uploaded this months sooner, I would have not needed to spend so long designing one myself. Especially painful to see since the project deadline is tomorrow. LOL but nice.

@@antoineddp I'm using it for my batcave turntable. I have something similar with the lego ring parts and 1 x 1 round tiles "ball bearings" but the mechanism that turns it is not reliable.
Here is a link to my current turntable: ua-cam.com/video/uxORkD7puMs/v-deo.html
I will post an update with your version once the pieces get in.

This is really sturdy. Looking forward to tuck it on top of a tower and use it as a crane's turntable - no doubt that whole lifting device will be huge xd Nice idea my friend! This is what I was looking for!

Nice, but maybe the small turntable in the center is generating friction under load. You should try to remove it and do another load test.

This is awesome.... I also tried to build one, but it didn't work that well.
Is it also possible to build this moc with the normal Batterie- box?

I think so, it would be possible but I don't know if the battery can be placed in the moc.

I dont think that would work very however, these types of bearings arent meant to support that type of load.

    • @antoineddp
      @antoineddp  4 роки тому +2
