- “He’s a boastful man. He always has a better fact than you. It’s almost like he’s playing permanent top trumps.”
The Sun’s political editor Harry Cole says Rishi Sunak got "a bit snappy" in his interview with the prime minister defending his record in government.

Record levels of child poverty, zero public services working, full jails, collapsing schools and sewage water, investment and trade declining, weak job market. Their plan is working.
And this is the record Sunak is defending, is that your statement Mr Cole.
More like a nightmare I am struggling to wake up!!!!!
Dont forget record illegal imigration and MP slease
Hmm I thought uk has become top 5 in terms of child reading standards
10 million people on benefits. Our high streets look like Main Street, Kiev.
What record?
1. Ignoring the wishes of the people,
2. Encouraging boaters,
3. Calls an objective a plan.
4. Can't appoint good people.
4. Is a very good helicopter passenger,
5. Has proved reduced inflation make us all better off.
6. Uses fiscal drag to tax more people.
7. Presided over the biggest tax burden ever.
8. has extended hospital waiting times,
9 has let school buildings and public buildings rot.
10 Has failed to retain nurses and teachers.
Feel free to add to this list.
If they turned of legal migration thee would be a Depression rather than a recession
Tory economic policy runs on migration or hadn't you figured that out yet
Wants to reduce the over crowded prison population by putting the homeless in prison.
(Given there is no home building and more people slipping into poverty due to inflation and high energy costs, homeless numbers will sadly increase)
Don’t Buy The Sun.
He is just shockingly terrible at politics
fully agree but his dark side is now there for all to see and its just plain heartless and un-sympathetic and we all deserve better right now from a PM
His government record is 0 🤷♂️
0 would be an improvement, he's on -99
Sunak has failed on all 5 of his pledges 🙄
@steph… At least we’ve still got integrity and accountability at all levels 😂
@@Jessjoe1956 🤣🤣 not
Inflation more than halved , debt on track to fall , he passed the deal with Albania which got them to take back returns . (So he is attempting to stop the boats, if Rwanda bill succeeds he will have gone further than others who just talk ) , growth beating Germany ,nhs backlog has reduced but more work to do
@nishie1 inflation has nothing to do with the government interest rates are still high. The NHS waiting lists are still high, the boats still coming, the Rwanda bill as failed may I go on don't know what planet you are on.
He’s going to fold like a hot Mars bar on the campaign trail when he has to consistently speak to the public 😂
😅😅
Sunak will be kept away from Joe Public by his campaign managers . It will all be small captive sympathetic audience stuff .
@@johnburrows3385 what about the leaders debates?
@@Sam-gw5pl Hard to avoid those, although Boris Johnson did. Sunak will be highly briefed and will avoid going off script like his life depends on it.
@@johnburrows3385 He will send his missus.
GET RID OF THE TORIES AND SLIPPERY EEL SUNAK 😂
They have failed the country on everything and still think they have done a good job.
God no more of this charade.
A record of absolute disaster
Deluded comes to mind!!
a record for srcewing us over
The expression "defending the indefensible" immediately springs to mind.
But he hasn't done anything but line is cronies pockets.
Delusion in its purest form.
I always said that behind closed doors Rishi Squatter is a nasty piece of work. Total amateur in British politics
Rashid Sunak is proud of things he should be ashamed of
can I reiterate we think he's a bad person
Sun readers are hard to please?
If your reading a paper aimed at someone with the intellect of a 10 year old owned by a Libertarian billionaire the there is no hope for you
This bunch of Tories are simply finishing off what Thatcher started, to their eternal shame.
The EE need putting in their place once and for all. We need to take our country back from their evil clutches, they have had their own way for centuries, enough is enough!!!
We must demand a new system, for the benefit of the British people.
We can't take our country back, sunak and his government clowns have seen to that there are to many illegal immigrants and so called asylum seekers here sunak has made sure we can't afford to deport them, so us tax payers will still end up footing the bill to keep them who ever wins the general election we will still end up keeping the illegals here,
Thatcher isn't finished yet. Damn her!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@thetragicyouth Why are you rolling on the floor laughing?
I’m so looking forward to going back to square one with the Labour Party 🎈
He sounds like a spoiled child, wonder why?
Why does nobody like me, what am i doing wrong, why don't they love me, what a weak spineless man.
I hate sunak for the mess he's done, just resign and leave, your no good for the country
He only stays on to secure daddy in law a stranglehold on UK communications ,fronted by former Israeli intelligence officers.
He is deluded, a whole year for zero!!!!!!
sunak has a record to defend, you cant defend the indefensible,
How on earth do they not think Sunak is a bad guy? He's destroyed the economy!
Political editor of the Sun.......... oxymoron if ever, a pure tory rag
Deluded , lying or both ?
I feel its important to set the record straight- I do think Sunak is a bad person
Is the sun still going?
*A **_"cabinet of Sun readers"_** eh? I think I'll be watching the darts too.*
Rishi is already avoiding the public.. lol by going on sunspot tv 😂😂
Let's remember the 14 year tory record. Self harming net zero (should be a referendum on wind and solar or fracking and nuclear power). Legal migration on steroids. Though they've used the boats crossings in an attempt to cover it up for a long time. Stagnated economy, so the myth we need these migrants for the economy is a load of nonesense. Low wages. Lack of housing, NHS crumbling and a complete disgrace, in my opinion it needs auditing and managers sacked. Lack of Dr's, nurses, surgeons, dentists etc etc because of mass legal migration. Free speech in the gutter, wokeness all over the place. Everyone fed up, bored, miserable and waiting for someone to get to grips of this country and build it back from the ground up. I could keep gong with a list of things that need to be fixed or done away with. Yet the Tories (Labour will be the same) won't deal with it and haven't the guts to do it.
You're conflating two issues here. One is valid and urgent, one is simply there to distract us. Our infrastructure is crumbling it's true, but this has nothing to do with immigration, unless you think raw sewage in our seas and rivers are immigrants fault. I don't worry myself about a few hundred desperate Iraqis in leaky boats. They just want to be safe. I do worry about hyper rich and hyper mobile corporations who are asset stripping us without paying a penny in tax.
@@PaulK-ve1puimmigration is a major issue. Housing, Crime, NHS, GP appointments, dentists, traffic etc etc. Is not helped with the numbers entering, that's a fact.
England landmass 130,279km2, population 55m+. Norway landmass 385,207km2, population 5m+. England is overpopulated. Absolute delusion to think otherwise.
@@artistreality We've been overcrowded since the Industrial Revolution. There's nothing new in that. And that's because we are squeezed into big towns and cities. When you fly into Gatwick, all you see on the approaches are green spaces. And, I say again, it's not the source of our problems. The UK has always thrived on immigration and there have always been those who feel threatened by it. And don't forget, you and I are here through accident of birth. We could easily have been born in Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan. Wouldn't we want to get out if we could?
@@PaulK-ve1pu There are some bveneficiaries of mass immigration industry, but on the whole it is damaging to the populations. Yes, the house prices are going up, but how does it affect young people, young families that never had a chance.
@@bigbarry8343 Well firstly, you provide no evidence to back up your claim that immigration is damaging. Secondly, house prices have risen because we sold off all the council houses and haven't replaced them. Every house building target has been missed for 25 years. And as I said before, immigrants aren't to blame for the collapse of the NHS, or water companies out of control, or the rise and rise of food banks. Immigration won't even be in my top ten concerns at the next election.
Are they all off the same delusional mould
Is it just me or does Harry 'Hairline' Cole have massive hands? Find it very hard to take anybody who works for The Sun seriously.
The sun's political editor.. cool GE
boasts should be ashamed tbf
Harry Cole is as good a journalist as Sunak is a politician.
They're both DREADFUL at their jobs.
Techy Sunak.
The Sun are going to endorse Labour.
Thats a joke right hes pathetic and hes punishing poor people whole he makes his mates richer he wants a digital currency i don't because i dont want my money going missing every time get out rushi you haven't delivered for anyone we are fed up your party is going to finish 3rd
SUNAK ALWAYS THINKS ABOUT PRESSING THE CORBYN BUTTON WHEN HE CAN'T ANSWER A QUESTION.
Sunak the goat 🐐 is still PM ????
For God’s sake sunak. The country is screaming for you to resign and go!
His record is he cleaning up the blood and guts his party created while leaving landmines for Sunak
Priminister of the UK, Brown. London Mayor, Brown. Humza Yousaf, Brown. 3 of the most hated people in the UK. See the similarity?
I thought Gordon Brown was a well respected prime minister?
Sounds like a hint of jealousy and racism there. It is a democracy. All three were elected.
You literally just judge people on their colour huh? I guess some people lack the basic intelligence to hide their disgusting personalities.
Rishi isn’t acting like the headmaster. But like a decent kid. Being forced to cover for his rowdy classmates. Who’s running totally amok and he have no control over.
Then he's pulled the wool over your eyes, how can you think he is different
@@matty6720 Oh I don’t trust him at all! It’s just the image he conveys. But also let’s face it! Getting the Tory maniacs in line, is worse then herding cats.
@@matty6720 I don’t trust him never have never will. It’s just the image he conveys. But to be fair. Getting that gang of lunatics in order, is worse than herding cats.
@@MyTv-fair enough. I still think the image of lunacy is a false one to cover fraud and theft. The decisions don't make sense to a sensible person, but make a lot of sense when you follow the money
You think that "decent kid" would have finished on top of this tory government? He clearly is a masterful covert bully, he and his missus.
Worst PM
Sunak is a bad guy Mr Boris made him as a chancellor he let Boris down. Time to go caretaker.
What record you waste of unelected time
Starmer is not a blank canvass. He said he was for Brexit, until leave won. He got away with his behaviour in photo
In COVID restrictions. Starmer all labour get easy interviews.
Since whe?
They never ask the Tories where the money comes from for tax cuts so I'll tell you. They have borrowed just under 2 trillion since 2010, last year H unt borrowed 130 billion, debt repayments were 120 billion of which 30 billion was down to Truss.
Yet apparently we can afford 20 billion in tax cuts go figure
