That's cause Prince played it all but the most incredible thing about him was that he was able to turn them all into one voice between the band or just in everything he played..It may help to understand in that of all the guitarists in Prince's clique Jesse was closer to blues/rock like Hendrix.Muddy Waters Albert King..and that's the edge we heard in The Time...Even though Prince wrote the 1st two albums on.the road Jesse played so he made those solos/riffs all his
doryendo77 I couldn't agree more. Which brings me to an interesting question, Have you ever heard someone cover a Prince song and either successfully deliver on it, or make it their own? Most I've heard didn't quite live up to what the man put down. Aside from maybe D'Angelo and perhaps Labelle.
Phillip May Damn that's so hard to do as in not only.cover a.master's time but put you in it..fuck man lol... D took it a step further with Untitled being the one Prince said he wished he wrote..Cherokee (Zap Mama) has a song called I Swear that you'll think was one of his b-sides but she said it wasn't (He probably dropped in the studio that day on the sneak heard it and said Cool :-D .. Lenny Kravitz and Terence Trent Darby too
Ricky Love I don't have to be better. I'm not a professional guitarist. He is, in my opinion all-over the place and is just no rhythm/quality to it. I know he's randomly playing notes but it sounds irritating to me.
That is the most beautiful guitar I’ve ever seen!!!
Jessie you are even better than back in the day...
Beautiful Stratocaster !!!!!
I wish I were there!
Jesse 💕
the og jesse. the stick is probably loved by dangelo but jesse kills it here. prince helped morris with it tho.
His playing is great but what makes it for me is the crowd sing-along!
IMO, Jesse never got his just due credit as a musician
I almost sure Jesse knew the correct chords.
He did that on purpose.
Nah dont get me wrong Jesse was highly favored from Prince but it doesn't mean he could duplicate Prince's work💜
Aw come on, he just went to the next part a little too early.
hell yeah the stick!
Enjoyed it. I couldn't handle him then and I can't handle him now. Chocolate devil💋
Ooops!
;-)
This just makes Prince's talent seem even more other worldly.. Jesse ain't bad... BUT

He should stick to his own material.....he butchered the Prince tunes badly !!
