be confident
take care of our bodies etc
But don’t lose yourself in the process.
Be yourself! Because our husbands will be attracted and called to who God made us to be! And not another version of someone else.

I’ve been feeling nudges from the Holy Spirit to go out on my own more often and look nice/presentable.. feel in my spirit that when I do it there is going to be many opportunities coming my way, more than just a relationship also. My goal this summer is to ask the Lord what he wants me to do or where he wants me to go daily. But yesterday I was at a coffee shop in sweats / sweater / no makeup bc I was being lazy but even before I felt like Holy Spirit was telling me I needed to look more presentable simply for his glory. So I did feel a couple of eyes on me briefly throughout me being there, but I felt like I wasn’t fully approached or given consideration because of my lack of femininity yesterday. At one point this guy I actually thought was cute simply asked me to watch his stuff as he used the bathroom.. but I remember telling my friend “he’s actually really cute, kind eyes and smile! He even took off his hat when speaking to me” and I specifically remember the hat part because I admired how respectful he was. Anyways I felt led to ask for his number but I didn’t.. this will encourage me to look my best, so I can feel confident and approachable.

For me when I want to look more feminine and put together, I like to add ‘finishing touches’ and it works every time.
For example, if I want to be comfortable I’ll wearing a matching lounge set/ track suit.
I’ll put my hair in a neat bun. Wear my favourite necklace, bracelet and rings.
Add a nice casual jacket, clean shoes with a cute little purse.
I still get to feel comfortable and cozy, but now I also look presentable and quite feminine. I wish I could add a picture to show you 😄
Same! I work from home so I can look really busted most of the week, so I’ve been buying a lot of dresses lately and have tried to make it a habit to not buy everything at once/ all in one day.

Kelliecordova4463, I have been saying the same thing. As a matter of fact, I had a dream and in it there was this white guy and I remember my daughter asking him or you going to ask my mom out!! The most phenomenal thing about this dream is that everything in it was pure clean and crisp!! I mean fresh air and we were sitting in a park and everything in it was crisp translucent, clear and clean and the clothes we all had on were white as well.
There were no other people in the park but us and even the streets were so clean, and no trash was found anywhere and there were no cars or anything to pollute that special park. It was quite serene and very calm and peaceful!! All I know is that I have never dreamed a dream like that before in my entire life. It was quite lovely! I have been waiting for my "BOAZ" like Ruth for a long time now!! I pray you will meet yours real soon!!

I guess I will ask God to help me care more about my appearance than I do now. I understand a man wants a neat, well-cared woman by his side, just like I would like to look at a neat, well-cared man next to my side. However, I just felt plain and guess I dressed plain then as well. Because of finances and ethics of the clothing industry I just do not want to buy clothes all the time, but I can make more of what I have. I have been in a season of waiting. However, I actually truly starting praying fervently for my future husband last night and this morning. It’s (desire for marriage) has been weighing on me heavily to seek and wait on God for my kingdom marriage. This is the second message about marriage confirmation that I randomly received today.
