I just watched your channel for the very first time and must confess I'm very much impressed by your amazing and methodical job! You are also a very good instructor indeed! Thanks very much! :)
Lucky for me I found your channel! Like other viewers, I’m new to this awesome hobby, and I struck gold on the first try! Keep up the good work, and I look forward to future episodes.
Oops! I'm sorry. I said I had watched all of your videos. Obviously lied (unintentionally of course). just watched your fine crappie video and enjoyed it lot. Thank you!
Im about to dip my toes into lure painting soon, just waiting on the last of my order which is paint. Glad I found your channel and I will use your videos as guidance. Never felt so excited about a hobby as I do this. I LOVE fishing, DISLIKE buying expensive lures and ive been a professional house painter for 12 years. Feel like I found my calling.. Looking forward to learning from you good sir. Thx Clayton from Canada eh
Bro you are awesome, that is the most realistic one I’ve ever seen, I just started and I have a cheap gun but was wondering what one you recommend for a real good starter gun?
Hello Congratulations for all. Amazing Can you show me how you put the clearcoat, how to prevent varnish from coating the bottom ring after drying, or how you remove it.. Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english,i'm french
I used a product in the United States called Alumilite. It’s a clear coating that cures under ultraviolet light. Also look for KBS Diamond Clear that you dip your bait into and let it hang to dry in the air for 48-72 hours.
Hello, thanks for the video on lakeville pumkinseed. I have ordered everything you were using. the last thing are stencils fom anarchy. I have looked at the creature feature stencils and ther are a few that are pretty similar. Do you happen to recall the exact names or model # of the two you used. I think e smaller one is HS16 CF1 MOttled but I can't tell about the larger one thanks, Kermett
AWESOME video (as always)!!! Could you be so kind as to providing links for the alumilite uv clear coat, eyes you use for your baits (hooks and split rings would be awesome too!)?? Also, what's the possibility of you putting up a video for an in-depth look at how to get the right paint reduction for general paints and some that you recommend need more or less reducer (and maybe some insight on general air pressure... or during your tutorials make mention of what air pressure you're using for each coat)? I'm struggling a lil with getting the right consistency and don't want to create bad habits. Thanks for these great tutorials, I have learned a great deal from you bro! Keep on keepin' on! Cheers!
Actually I found your one video whereas you go over the alumilite coating process and it has the link to their site. The better question would have been what volume size of it would you recommend? The $90 option seems a lil steep and the 1/4 lb size at $19 seems more economical but am wondering if it's relatively too small of an amount if you're wanting to coat a decent amount of baits. Your thoughts/recommendations??
Go to dingerbaits online or u can go to cedar run outdoors they have blanks hooks eyes boxes for baits swivels skirts everything on cedar run but they have a lot on dingerbaits too but it is more expensive on dingerbaits
I have a question. Why do you prime with white when your first color is pearl white? Is the primer coat really necessary? Thanks for your videos, I am learning a lot.
Great job, again. I've been a fan for years, and enjoy painting lures, also. Could you please tell me what size uv lamps you use, and a contact source for them? Time for me to move into the uv world. Milt from Mankato
Most excellent. I have a favor to ask, next video can go to the aluma lite web page and paste the page of the kind you use for clear coat in the description, please and ty again.
I have watched every one of your videos several times and love them all. Love your explanations and the ey you instruct. I have asked this before, but I want to ask again. would you do a crappie?
I think that was a great video I would like to know the size of the stencils you used because their website has so many and it is difficult to figure out which ones you used on the pumpkin seed, thank you.
Is there any way you could send the recipe list for painting your baits. I have been following you for a while and have painted some of my baits following your tutorials . You do a fantastic job with you paint schemes.
Best looking hand painted pumpkinseeds I've ever seen!
These are really incredible! Best finish I've ever seen on a lure, and I've been fishing for 40 years!

Great tip with darkened eyes. I used shading grey to do it. Worked good. Thanks.

Wow, what an amazing paint job. Thank you for sharing all the details and you caught a new subscriber here.
Love your videos. I painted this one this week and now I feel like a expert! Lol thanks for the video.

Great looking bait there Mike
Always good to watch the master at work.
Thank you for this, I am new to painting and a pumpkinseed is a must for me to do for my area.
Welcome!!
Great vid. I'm a newbie and my first baits came out awesome. Note to first timers. Play with paints. You'd be surprised at the results.

I really like that Moss green. I’ll have to add that to the wish list.
Yup. It really changes shades and darkens up as you add more coats.

Great looking bait & thank u for doing how to vids...do u thin the pearl white? I ask because it's clogging my brush
❤looks great now lets see you fish with it

Pearl white doesn’t cover as well as regular white.

I have watched every one of your videos several times and love them all. Love your explanations and the ey you instruct. I have asked this before, but I want to ask again. would you do a crappie?
I have an older crappie video. I need to do an updated one. Its on the list!
I love it. I tried the alumiUV but it came out with a dull finish. No idea what caused that so I switched back to KBS.
You need to warm up the Alumilite. I put mine in a mason jar, then fill up a cheap crockpot with warm water. Set it to Low for 90 min.
I think that was a great video I would like to know the size of the stencils you used because their website has so many and it is difficult to figure out which ones you used on the pumpkin seed, thank you.
I’ll look and get back with you. Thanks
What brand and model air compressor do you use?
What’s the name of that bait in the thumbnail.?? Where can I get that blank
Yeah nice job 👍👍
Excellent video, where can I get such templates? regards
How durable is that alumilite
Ive tried many clear coats. This is the best ive used
Sometimes you want to catch fishermen! We make humming bird feeders and generally they are glazed red. Not for the hummingbirds but for the customers.
Do you custom paint for people? Looking to have some done. Thanks
I only paint color patterns I have developed and on lure blanks I supply at www.luremeincrankbaits.com
where can i get the template? To make the little spots
Great painting, looks super realistic.👍👍👍
How long did it take to get your stencils in the mail
Took about a month to receive mine from Anarchy, but that was just before Corona hit.
